Floyd Mayweather Jr did pretty well against Shane Mosley and obviously showed a far different face this time. He did attacked and really had a surprising workrate opposite to what is expected from him to perform. I don't care of what fans may usually respond whether he beat an old fighter, but one thing I am sure that he performed the way he is supposed to be and not by running along ang score points. He led the tempo and dominated Mosley and the WW top legit fighter can't do nothing but to be frustrated until the last bell sounded. Mosley is still the same as he is but Mayweather is just too better for him on this fight. Floyd made us realized he can also be an all offensive fighter rather than be known as defensive specialist boxer. It is a good showing from him this time on Mosley. I hope he could still do the same in his next fight because it makes him look not just good but pretty good. It's a remarkable fight performance to be remembered. Good job, Floyd.
Yes last night i thought SM looked old, after the 2nd round he was puffing for air, but the way Mayweather came out after the 2nd for the 3rd was truely amazing. So cool, so calm and he just boxed. The way he positioned himself to avoid Mosleys punches and then come back with lighting quick counters....i mean it was poetry. I am someone who has criticised Mayweather alot over his choice of previous opponents. But on this occassion he did take on the one of the top welterweights this time and won in convincing fashion. No complaints from me.
Agreed. I think with his showing last night could only mean he will sure be out of criticism that he is used of running away a win through a D. This time it is no wonder Floyd did a far different impression to the boxing fans. A dominant performance no doubt.
