It baffles me how people are acting like Shane losing that fight had something to do with Shane and not with Mayweather. Mayweather is that good and on a level above Shane. I really believe that Shane could beat any WW out there still.. with the exceptions being FMJ and Manny Pacquaio.. and I would still love to see Mosley vs. Pacquaio fight.. I think they would slug it out.
is it me or is mayweather way past his prime...the guy is amaxing, dont get me wrong but i think he is either still getting rid of the cob werbs or he lost a lot more during his lay off
no i'm serious...the guy lost something...i think he is better than pac but i'm sure he's not the same
People need to understand that Shane doesn't look great against boxers but does his best work against come-forward boxers. I still think he could beat Pacquiao and I give Floyd props for his win last night. Can't wait to see the fight!lol
I just finished watching the fight. I turned the volume off... and here is what I saw. I saw Mosley force the action. I saw Mayweather throw punches when he had to. I saw a lot of missing. Only a few rounds were decisively won IMO... but the judges gave all of the non-decisive rounds to Mayweather. Non-decisive translates to "could have went either way" to me, how about you? Also, most of the rounds were non-decisive IMO. Mosley clearly won the first two rounds IMO (the 2nd without a doubt), can we agree on that? Mayweather clearly won rounds 10 and 11. Rounds 3,6, and 7 were close. Did Mayweather really clearly win all of these rounds? Can a case be made for Mosley in any of these rounds? How about a 10-10 round? I think Mosley did well in these rounds. Not much happened in rounds 4,5,8,9, and 12... nobody had the upper hand IMO. Why give Mayweather all of these rounds? Did he clearly win them? Is there no justification for a 10-9 round for Mosley in any of these rounds? How about a 10-10 round? Don't get it twisted!!! I'm not saying Mayweather didn't deserve the win. I read about how Mayweather dominated Mosley and put on an awesome boxing clinic. I even read that Mayweather almost had Mosley out late in the fight. I didn't see that at all. What does a fighter have to do to win a round vs. Mayweather? I feel like the scorecards in a Mayweather fight are on autopilot sometimes. 119-109, really? I know many will call me crazy, or worse... whatever! I never said I thought Mosley won. I just think it was closer than 119-109 or even 118-110. I just want to know why all of the close rounds or rounds where barely anything happens always end up 10-9 for Mayweather, why?:bart
