The only time Pac ended a fight with few shots or one shot was against a shot Hatton. Everyone else took his best shots and were still in the fight or kicked his ass later. Pac does not hit that hard period.

im not saying that floyd is gonna get caught as much as others have of pacquaio. I think it would be a very difficult fight for pac and certainly the biggest test of his career. I was saying that i think pac has more speed and possibly more power than anyone mayweather has faced and if Mosley can catch and hurt Mayweather then Pac definately has a chance at knocking him out.
I give Mayweather all the credit he deserves, his defence is by far the best around today and his hand speed is amazing as well but i wouldnt write pac off just for those reasons if they ever sort the **** out and actually fight

manny has a chance, he isn't just a brawler like people think, he feints, uses angles, is fast as hell and has devastating power, but i see floyd winning a ud.

You got the Hatton fight and the 3rd MOrales fight in which Erik wasn't fully recovered from the first 2 fights. Aside from that give me examples of this fight ending power. Marquez went the distance twice. Oscar quit from exaustion but was never seriously hurt diaz quit out of frustation in the 9th round, Cotto lasted until the 12th round, Clottey went the distance. Where is this concussive one pucnh fight ending power? You guys really think Floyd is going to let manny land that many punches on him to wear him down and stop him like he does like everyone else?

i get your point but the hatton ko was devestating, cotto was saved from a ko by the bell in round 4, and you need to watch the diaz fight again as that was also a brutal KO

Mosley used to be that type of fighter too up until last night, I expect that Pac will be less willing to trade with Floyd if he has any difficultly landing his own power shots.

Seriously? I think all his opponents would beg to differ. Plus, what makes his punches so dangerous is that they're thrown at odd angles and with great speed. It's the shots a fighter doesn't see coming that knocks him out . But as I said, I think Mayweather's too skilled defensively and too good a counterpuncher, and will take a UD or stop Pac.

What's good about Pacquiao is that people always underestimate him, and as always he finds ways to silence his critics. The only thing I know is that Pacquiao defies logic and common sense. And if we try to analyze and overanalyze his future fights, it would only frustrate us much, and leave us baffled/awed when he performs more than we expected.

If Floyd fights the way he did against Moseley then Manny will feast on him. If he runs then it's a different story. anything can happen.

after seeing how a slower, older, less agressive mosely nearly ruined floyds night, i think pac would have ended it in the 2nd. mosely stopped throwing and started looking for that one punch ko after the 2nd rd. pac will not stop throwing, he will not gas out with old legs and he will immediatly retaliate anytime floyd touches him. these are 2 completely different fighters fighting on two different levels right now. shane was beaten by a good boxer who then got destroyed by pac so they are obviously not equal and the welter division is so soft that anyone that pac or floyd fight will be made to look outmatched. how tough can the division be when a 38yo past prime once great fighter sits at the top.
i did gain an appreciation for floyds heart last night. i predicted that he would stink up the place by avoiding close contact in the later rds and he proved me wrong by stalking mosely like a true warrior. i have to respect his game.
lets just take it for what it is. a 4 to 1 favorite outclassed an old almost superstar of the sport who almost pulled the upset. fighting the #1 p4p is a different deal altogether but both guys are levels above the competition right now.
paquiao vs mayweather will be the biggest fight in modern boxing history and the winner will be untouchable.
