    So what do people think?

Will the Ring make him P4P#1 after last night or will they leave it with Pacquiao?

They will leave Pac as #1 I think, alot of people will change their opinions though. I am undecided. #1 & #2 are both great fighters!

It wouldn't surprise me if the big US sites make FMJ #1, but I think in most people's mind Manny is still the best, and he certainly deserves to stay P4P King.

I wouldnt surprised if they do after all the Ring is owned by Floyd's promoter.

No. He is only P4P number 1 if he beats Pac, which he won't.

floyd now has a more solid case but pac for me has done much more in the past 2 years than floyd for floyd to surpass pac. and add to this is pac has been more of a deserving p4p champion since he is a now a natural jr welter that is making waves at welter. pac is still #1 but floyd is a solid #2. if pac would retire, floyd could easily get the spot.

They should, Mayweather just dominated the top ranking welterweight in the world. Mayweather-Mosley> Pacquiao-Clottey.

No. Mayweather forfeited his spot when he went into hiding for 2 years.

  14. That most people have Floyd winning against Pac - and they're the same weight should hold a lot of stead...

Floyd looks for all the world the best fighter alive - Manny has done some great work, but Floyd stepped it up a level last night. A level higher than Manny. They NEED to fight though, it stands to be the biggest fight in history the way it's going - not just in numbers, but for what each guy has achieved, and that they end up the same weight, and both look great at it - it's huge.

A level higher than Pac? I don't think so. Pac just dominated the biggest WW out there, winning every round. Floyd didn't do any more against Mosley. Plus Pac is naturally smaller than Floyd, fighting bigger opponents.
