I hate it when people easily assume "this version of ___________ would've been destroyed by ____________."

Manny Pacquiao wasn't out there fighting last night. Manny Pacquiao is not as sharp or as accurate a puncher as Mayweather. He's also not as strong as Mayweather, doesn't have Maywether's defense, and doesn't have Mayweather's counterpunching ability. Pacquiao couldn't execute a succesful pull counter if his life depended on it.

Nah Roach would have made Pac end it no later than the 9th or 10th rd.

Manny won't take the tests, and he shouldn't take the tests. He will fight Floyd under the rules set out by the sanctioning bodies and the athletic commissions, the same way that both of them have done throughout their entire careers (up until Floyd thought he was going to have to face Pacquiao, that is).

If only Floyd himself was as confident in his own abilities as his fans are, the fight would already have happened!!

I'm with you though, the fight has to happen.

Why would Pac even want to fight as a counterpuncher vs this version of Shane Mosley though?? Pac could step to him, trade fire, outspeed him, push him back, and dominate him. His defence and counterpunching abilities would be secondary concerns, he would use his offensive arsenal to crush the life out of Shane.

BULL****. He took some HUGE HUGE shots from Cotto. Difference is his legs didn't buckle and he didn't grab on.

Mayweather grabbed Mosely's arm like a vice after the big punch, Mosely couldn't put his punches together.

Mayweather is like Hopkins, knows every trick in the book and bends the rules to the point of breakage.

You've probably never seen Pacquiao 'hold on for dear life', but he has been rocked on numerous occasions. It's testament to Mayweather's chin that he rarely gets hit...but when he does get hit he can take a punch and stay on his feet. I don't know why people are making such a big deal about Mayweather being rocked...it's boxing, and he's in with a very powerful puncher.
I'd say Mayweather would have a suspect chin if he was knocked out cold last night off those punches but he wasn't. And I realise you have already stated you think Mayweather has a good chin...but it seems to be the main discussion on this forum after last night, not that Mayweather came back after being rocked and stood in front of Molsey for the rest of the bout.

Pac chin has been tested numerous times as A WW. His chin is rock solid to me.

    Too true.

The best way to do it now, is let the Nevada State Athletic Commission review the situation, and make a decision

He took some good shots from Cotto...the majority of the shots Cotto caught Pacquiao with were round the side of the guard on the ears, etc. He took one big clean shot what stopped him in his tracks...he took a couple seconds out and went straight back at it.

Pacquiao didn't decline at all and neither did Roach. The fight was on until Arum got in the way. Why? To have an all-Top Rank fight against Cotto.

Cotto is a tougher fighter than Mosley, anyway. Had Pacquiao beaten Mosley and Cotto lost to Mayweather last night, the question would be "Why didn't Pacquiao fight Cotto instead of old Mosley?".

Anyway, Pacquiao would have battered Mosley from last night.

Let's just talk reality here. What are the chances of Floyd backtracking on his USADA demands now? It's next to zero. He's taken a bold stance on the issue and there's no backtracking now. The same can't be said for Pacquiao and his stance. His stance is pretty weak. We all know that it doesn't take 3 days to recover from a blood test, and we all know it won't effect him more than Mayweather due to their size difference as Pac claims. Someone is going to have to cave, and it's much more likely that Pacquiao will be the one to cave.

Pac's too fast, too much for Shane. Shane is too old and far gone at this point. He would look just as confused as he did last night.

Mosley hits harder than Cotto. Check each fighter's fight's with Margarito for proof. Mosley would have much moe success against Pacquiao because Pac is easier to hit. Pac also doesn't have May's ring intelligence.
