nazim had the right gameplan mosley just didn't follow it

listen to nazim in one of the middle rounds "you're looking for the perfect shot, in this fight a perfect shot doesn't exist you have to use your handspeed throw combos and slide out the way".

 

wrong.....

the perfect gameplan would've been to make mosley jab, jab and keep on jabbing until it landed....and then follow it with overhand rights (which is pretty much one of the only punches that will catch floyd)

well you heard wrong, nazim is one of the head coaches at the concrete jungle boxing club, he trained his sons and nephews from day one, you can see him work their corners in old amateur fights.

also didn't some of the best fighters have great amateur backgrounds?

shane mosley? de la hoya? floyd? leonard? hearns? ali?

 

i was surprised with how well he handled shane's loss of spirit. there just wasn't much he could have done. i used to think he was a goofball.

 

but mosley never had a good jab to begin with, as nazim said he works with what he's got.

 

yeah, but they were also special and highly talked about since they were kids......his nephews and son aint dedicated and will not amount to anything........trust me

i've seen, met and talked to rock allen and he's tired of boxing....this was when i watched him live on a mosley undercard a few years ago.....

 

Come on man. How often do you hear trainers say this? It's one of the most common things. "You are looking for the perfect shot". You, me and everyone who saw the fight could have told Mosley that.

 

and manny never really had much of a defense or a right hand.....then he met roach, a REAL great trainer.......

mosleys best days are behind him, nazim isn't gonna teach him anything new in 2 camps.

 

when he beat margo EVERYBODY was saying how new and polished mosley looked (i actually thought it was complete ****)....now that he loses, it's a whole different story huh ??????

the same can be said about mosley after the margo bout, everybody thought he completely turned mosley around when in fact, margo was just a weight drained punching bag.....

naz should've stopped with the mental-coaching and really tested mosley in camp....slapping a towel around or those stupid floaters aint gonna do much to a seasoned veteran.....IMO naz ****en sucks and he's getting by many fans with his strong character and stupid ****en quotes....

if anything, as weak-minded as mosley is i have a strong feeling that naz only made it worst by talking like a ****en looney ass crackhead with all his metaphors and bull**** nonsense........
