welter weight needs a super four
with out pac and Mayweather , so they are left to fight each other.

if Mosely wants to be in it he could ,then 3 others . Who would be the other 3 be?

If you ask the WBA, it's household names Mbaye, DeCarie and Senchenko. :yep

It was my understanding that if Mosley lost - the title would simply become vacant - so no he is not the WBA champion anymore.

its up to the WBA since they alway do whatever they want.
I remember Virgil Hill once won a vacant regular Cruiser belt, lost to Henry Maske in some unsanctioned bout but keept the belt.

    WBA Ruls say..
Non-Title Bout Loss. A loss in any bout, including a non-title or non-sanctioned
bout, may result in loss of the boxer’s title or contender status.

If Mosley is not going to retire I think he can keep the belt otherwise there would be only two instead of three wba world champions in welterweight division plus Ouali who won an eliminator bout. what a waste..
