Pac's legacy as of now is possible PED use and ducking

    If Manny retired today, all of his accomplishments would be an afterthought. 20 years from now when his name is brought up in conversation, the most common general thoughts of people will be 1. He ducked Floyd Mayweather, 2. He may have been juiced up in the latter portion of his career.

    Nobody off the bat will be talking about his KOs of DLH, Hatton, and Cotto. The question marks and blatant ducking will be at the forefront of Joe Public's mind. And that's too bad because the remedy is readily available. Pass the same drug tests as his peers and sign the contract. Do this and whether it's a win or loss against May, the legacy will be intact. Being the second best of your generation is a tremendous accomplishment. He really has nothing to lose and a ton to gain, financially and legacy wise.

    * 7 titles in 7 weight divisions
    * The Ring Magazine Fighter of The Decade
    * Boxing Writers Association of America Greatest Fighter of the Decade
    * The midget who retired De La Hoya, nearly killed Hatton, and made spaghetti meatball out of Cotto's face.

    Great accomplishments but unless he has an about face, it won't be what he's remembered for.
