That is his only weakness. Every other aspect of Floyd's game is the best in history, in my opinion.

I think Sugar Ray Robinson finds Floyd's chin and puts him out, but only Sugar Ray. All the other ATGs find the chin but then find the adjustment that puts them out, like what happened to Mosley.

man...again..there is nothing to suggest that floyds chin is weak...floyd has a good chin...he got hit flush and took it..he buckled but who wouldn't ...

Ur in the minority with wat u saying about floyds chin...its one of the toughest in the game...never even been droppped..

Again..when u say his chin is weak..most fans and media disagree..his chin is not known to be "suspect"...its a good chin man..dont get it twisted...

Well if he beats pacquiao. He would clean up welterweight. Also. If he fights. Williams. He is fighting someone. That people think is dangerous. So that would futher more solify his legacy. There's only about 4 names that really make sence for him to fight from 147 to 160

To be the greatest, he needs to take the toughest fights. That includes Pac,Williams, maybe even sergio martinez at 154, hell that will grant him some respect. Hell he should have fought Mosley 5 years ago but he didnt. Promoters are so ****ing greedy with their fighters this low risk high reward bull**** has been screwing over boxing the last 15 years. No wonder its out of the mainstream sports media.

Wow...Lets see. He has to beat Pacquiao, Then move-up to 154lbs beat Martinez, then Move-up to 160lbs Beat Paul Williams, Then Move up to 168lbs Clean-out the SMW Division, then Move-up to 175lbs to beat Chad Dawson, then go to UFC and beat Broock Lesner....Then maybe he'll get Mediocre Credit.

Meanwhile fighters like Pac can beat beat Hatton and Oscar almost two year after Floyd and not even when their at their best, beat a Damaged Cotto and an African who throws 8 punches per round...And he's considered an ATG.

Also Calzaghe beats a long-list of European Cab-drivers, throw in an Amercian Hype-job who turned out to be anything (Lacy) Gets KD by two fighters that are WAY PAST THEIR PRIME (Jones & Hopkins) and he considered an ATG.

Back in November Floyd said he only wants to fight 5 moar times. After last night there's 4 fights left.

    1) Pacquiao
    2) Williams
    3) Martinez

Then for the fourth. If he beats all three of them he doesn't even need to fight anyone else.

    Agree.

I think Floyd can beat Pac(147) and Martinez(154), with Paul Williams being the stylistic nightmare that would be his biggest challenge, but at 147, he might be able to do it.

Totally agree...IMO,no comparisons should be made between this lot and say...1960 backwards...those cats simply did unbelievable stuff back in the day..Can anyone...post 1960.. really match up to SRR's 142-1 record at one time?Totally futile...And so no..Mayweather's nearesst chance is to be the graetest fighter of the last ten years..That's it...Any earlier than that..guys like Roy Jones,Tito Trinidad,DelaHoya may have something to say about that.

    Great fighter tho'.No doubt.:thumbsup:thumbsup

Win a title at MW would be enough for me. Even a win over Pac would do it.

You convenientlly left out the fact that Pac has 7 titles in 7 weight divisions and has wins over future HOFs Barerra, Marquez, Morales. Or were your fingers just feeling lazy to type out all the excuses needed to discredit those accomplishments? Or did you simply forget to buy enough Haterade at the market?
