This is to the all the idiots who doesn't know anything about boxing and need stewart to tell them whats going on and take his word for it. Here is what Shane have to say about why he lost. " i tried, it was a good fight, it was that close. he's a hell of a fighter. He's a great fighter. he did what he needed to do to win the fight. I tip my hat to him and i thank him for taking the challenge. he was hurt real bad when i hit him with that shot. i think after i caught him with that big right hand i opened up to much and played into his hands. i was too tight. when i hit him with the big right hand, i thought i was going to get the ko. he started to avoid the punches. he did surprise me. once i tried to get my timing back, i couldn't adjust and he did. i am happy i took the fight. he is a true champion. now you will see him and manny, if manny tkaes the blood test. i will go back home and look at the tape, take it slow when i get home and we'll see what happens." The man stated what was the problem and not a word about him being TIRED> so all you dumb ****s can quit speculating and making up theories. from my POV it is floyd's counter that netrualized shane.
the counterpunching of floyd was not there in the 1st and 2nd round. mosley hits him with a big right hand and wobbled floyd but couldnt finish it coz he is gassing up. be objective sometimes.
did u not read his reasons why he lost? did you not know that shane runs the mountains up and down? did you not have common sense???? how the hell can a elite fighter like shane GASSED by 3? hell i can go 3 f**king rounds and i even train on a reg basis. Are you guys are ******ed or just pretending to be?
What were you expecting? Him to come out and say '****, I really needed that EPO in the latter rounds.' I don't know whats wrong with you morons but there are definitely screws loose.
It's common sense. If you abused PEDs and then lost a fight because you didn't have them would you come out publicly and state you lost because you didn't have PEDs? No you wouldn't. Obviously neither would he.
You know how you can tell when a pro boxer is getting tired? When he is breathing with his mouth open. Mosley was sucking it in from the start of the 3rd onward. Mayweather was excellent in this fight - And as wrong as it is to decry Mosley as being washed up and 38 years old with 18 years pros and 8 or so as an amatuer, it's equally wrong to decry Mayweather's performance. Money showed some tenacity in the 3nd which is something most all his critics have questioned - You don't see him overcome adversity too often - Well tonight he did. This was not Shane of 10 years ago. For everyone of the *******s that say that Floydians decry Manny's opponents AFTER the event ala DLH and the Deer meat etc - Floyds fans now will have to suck it up and see that there is a second side to every coin. Even Floyd said "I can't win". I have criticised Floyd plenty on this forum - But he was awesome yesterday, Shane has never been good at making adjustments in any of his losses and THAT was more central to his drubbing than his age. Nazim was EXCELLENT in the corner - Had the right advice - Said the right things - Shane couldn't do it. Floyd is 41-0 and we move on. Personally I still give the P4P edge to Pac because of what he's done - If P4P was something given for potential or skill I would give it to Floyd, but for now til they fight or Pac retires, then it's really a matter of subjective opinion. Which after all is all P4P's lists are anyway. Congrats to Floyd and lets hope we see him continue to take bigger challenges and fight more aggressivley. i dont think it was the counter...if floyd hit like tommy hearns, yeah...but i dont have a good idea why he looked like that...nearly kos floyd in 2nd round...and backs off and lets floyd take the fight to him...maybe he didnt excpect floyd to come after him like the terminator...thats my only idea..but that could have been adapted to, shaens a long time pro, world class and all that
there are many ways to stop volume. Look at what martinez did to pavlik, dirrell did to froch, bhop did to joe cal and many many more. Shane is mentally tired than physically tired. Breathing with mouth, so f**King what? valero does it always. most boxers walk back to corner breathing through mouth. especially getting their nose jacked up several times.
shane looks more discouraged than tired. and getting 76 shots to the chin doesn't help either. if any of you actually know any boxing you would know that getting hit flush will make anyone think twice just waltz in there throwing constant punches unless ur fighting clottey.
Mosely had the same look as Tszyu against Hatton. They were both breathing heavily from open mouths very early in the fights, couldn't quite pull the trigger at the right time and despite strong starts, faded badly. Getting old is a *****.
and to think that sooo many people put shane in bhop category and not more bc shane trains hard and always had great conditioning and being able to get late kos, chooses to grow old over night in his biggest fight. WHAT A COINIDENCE! I like how you guys are mind readers, even though shane didn't mention a single thing about him getting tired. real life lie detectors on this forum.
