Roach - "Shane came to my gym twice to negotiate the fight with me. I said Shane can you make 142 or 143, he says no, I say "Okay there's no fight", he says "You fought Oscar at 147", I says "You're not Oscar."

Interviewer - "What did you mean by that?"

Roach - "He's better than Oscar, I mean why should I give him the advantage?"

    -

Sounds to me like this was one '38 year old grandpa' that Pacquiao really didn't want to fight.

Sigh. Well if we're going to over analyse this crap, it sounds like Roach didn't want Pacquiao to fight the '38 year old grandpa'. He has fought a hell of a lot of other good fighters though, wouldn't you agree?

So is this just forum protocol now? You have to either be a Floyd or Manny man, with no in between ground?

No. I agree with your statement that Floyd is much more superior than Margarito.

Okay. I seemed like it was posted in a sarcastic manner with regards to your other comments.

Haha. Very boring though isn't it? The next two months, all we're going to get is a bunch of ***gits, who didn't know what a USADA test or a PED was before December, talking like they're experts on the subject again. Using poorly written, baseless articles written by nobodies to support their fallicious claims.

Exactly! This is why Floyd's win over Mosley is nothing more than a Pacquiao win over Oscar! Hatton? Please. That mother****er was an overrated B fighter. Floyd and Pacquiao beating that guy proved nothing. Actually, one thing. Hatton SUCKS!

Floyd offered Pac the fight, so whatever Floyd Sr says makes no difference. Did Pac offer Mosley the fight? No.

Did Floyd turn down a $40 million dollar and legacy-sealing fight over a 14 day window? No.

"If they give me a 5-day window or something like that I have no problem with it," Roach said. "When they've drawn blood from Manny in the past he feels weaker for three or four days. It may be mental, but it's there."

You already got owned on this issues yesterday. I asked you a few simple questions and you ran away. You said 'don't make me dig up your old posts on Pacquiao'. I told you go to go and dig them up, and you bitched out and ran away and cried over the fact Floyd beat a top 3 welterweight at his natural weight. When is Pacquiao going to do the same?

The difference is, De La Hoya got hit at will by Steve Forbes and was made to drain down to a weight he hadn't made for 8 years, and was so badly drained that he had to be rehydrated on an IV drip, and so badly that Pacquiao was in fact the bigger man on fight night.

Mosley came off a destructive win over the #1 welterweight and was fighting at his consensus best weight.

Pacquiao beat up Cotto. 141-147 is considered welterweight. Pacquiao also beat Clottey who is real natural young solid Welterweight.

WW with no defence, without the plaster, and over a year ago, which is a long time when you're Mosley's age.

LOL It's not Pacquiao's fault Delahoya wanted to fight him at that weight class. Common. Pacquiao only fought one time at lightweight against a B class David Diaz. Remember when the Pacman vs Golden Girl was announced? Everybody and their momma said that Golden Girl will kill Pacquiao just by his JAB ALONE. It was so one sided that they probably thought of hiding a surgical team just in case Golden Girl actually kills Pacquiao in the ring. Pacquiao's odds against Hoya was zilch.
