let me first say that i'm a huge fan of manny pacquiao, and he's an excellent fighter, great infact. he has excellent workrate, he's very fast, his stamina is phenomenal, but technically i think he's too flawed to beat floyd. i think it's actually manny offense that would be his weakness for this fight, because at times he makes mistakes when he's on the attack. he punches with both arms extended at times with no concern of his defense. at times pacquiao punches with his foot off the canvas leaving his balance exposed if he got countered.

yes pacquiao has improved over the years, but the fighters he's beating are come forward slower fighters that aren't hard to find and got overwhelmed with the speed and workrate of manny pacquiao. floyd is not a come forward fighter even though he has shown against mosley he can fight in many ways.

i really want to see the fight, but i don't think it'll be close. i think pacquiao is going to get picked off and beat very convincingly.

i wouldn't be surprised if roach and arum doesn't want this fight.

this is an example of what i mean. pacquaio's offense is actually going to be his weakness against mayweather.

floyd sr belives pacquiao is on drugs, he's made that clear, and apparantly was going to get sued for it, even though we haven't heard too much about that at the moment. it's roger mayweather that knows his boxing, more so than floyd sr in my opinion. you got to remember once floyd asked for a cut off date of 14 days, arum got the fight signed sealed and delivered against clottey in less than 24 hours, that means he was already putting that fight together while negotiating with floyd. pacquiao-clottey was done too quick.

why is pacquiao so concerned about doing the tests that floyd would also be taking? it can work both ways. i'm not talking about why the fight hasn't happened, i'm just stating my opinion with reasons in why i believe floyd will win. that's all.

    everybody makes mistakes including floyd...

i think it boils down to how can pbf time pac's freakish speed...if pbf can then pac is done...but if floyd cant see the punch coming, lil floyd is proper ****ed....

That Pac makes too many mistakes and Floyd will exploit these to an easy win.

Pac will have to over extend himself to connect on the bigger longer Floyd...this is a huge problem for Pac against Floyd.

Not really. His speed will compensate to his reach disadvantage.

I think pretty much everyone has held those opinions for a very long time, as it's pretty obvious to see how Floyd will penetrate those mistakes. But the last line of your post? I really find it amusing when people come out with this nonsense. Arum would love to see this fight takes place, as it makes him a hell of a lot of money. Roach too would love to see this take place, as it gives him and his pupil a chance to do the unthinkable, and beat Floyd; ultimately achieving supreme greatness of the modern era.

People need to understand, both guys want this fight! No one is scared of one another! The only thing which is preventing this fight from happening, is one fighter's desire of reducing his opponent's mental state come fight night, only for this desire to be met with firm refusal. Now seeing as though it is Mayweather who is the one launching shameful accusations (based on no proof!), I think the onus is on him to stop with the bull****, and fight like he's fought the other 40 opponents he's faced
