Mosley who is fleet footed and quick handed, could barely even get close enough to touch Floyd almost the entire fight.

Floyd looked like his punching power has improved significantly, probably due to the fact that he was actually a little upset in this fight, and committed to his punches.

Now if Silva can completely dominate a wrestler by not even letting him get near him, and Silva's A+ game is less than Floyd's C- game, don't you think Floyd would be knockin people's head's in?

The guy is a true phenom. When he lands flush on a guy's head, it's over.

And you saw how strong he was against Shane, a guy who reported to be strong as a mother ****er in the gym, more than likely stronger than almost any MMA guy.

If Floyd fought the way he fought Shane in MMA, yes, he'd be a problem. BUT obviously the physical strength factor and availability of the full body as a target plus the ground game element would be a problem for him. If he could learn the rest and summon that 'warrior spirit' to fight and not give a fcuk like he did against Shane, he'd be serious.

he would have more KO power with thinner gloves combined with fast hands he could have a good punchers chance but can he wrestle.......plus he has bad hands would he break em with thin gloves thats why he wears the thick gloves

he'd beat guys willing to trade with him obviously. but world class grapplers would twist him into a pretzel. guys like sean sherk, ben henderson, tyson griffin, ala strong grind-out wrestlers would destroy floyd.

PBF would probably be horrible in MMA, unless it was under K-1 Rules, under which only striking is allowed. Even then I don't think he would be great as his arsenal does not include kicks, knees, or elbows. Okay, maybe elbows lol. Under UFC rules or Pride rules he would be eaten alive as a result of having no groundgame whatsoever. It would be akin to throwing an MMA fighter in the ring with a boxer. The boxer will win 9/10 times unless the MMA fighter already has some boxing background, and even then he might only lose getting KOd by a lucky punch. If they matched PBF against a striker who had threw kicks, he might do okay. Let's just appreciate PBF the boxer, and forget about PBF the MMA prospect. MMA has enough fighters for fans to find someone they find appealing.

any top professional boxer will kill any MMA fighter,, having said that i dont think mayweather is the right boxer to go and represent boxing in MMA.. you need a guy that is willing to fight and dook it out.. if he gets taken down he wont have the heart or will power to get back up and to fight back.. floyd doesnt like to get hit..

    :hat

He'd be destroyed. Any boxer who doesn't have a ground game would be beaten. Simple as that.

Probably about as well as he would do in gymnastics. Completely different sport.

A lot of what is done on the ground is predicated by strength. The technique can be learned relatively quickly compared to boxing.

If Floyd managed to strongman Shane who's probably pfp stronger than any MMA figher I don't think his strength will be an issue.

With some practice, he would unstoppable.

Floyd is a boxer but if he were in the MMA, he would be one of the top dogs. He already knows how to use his elbows, this would take his striking to the next level. I can just see Floyd spinning and back handing them sorry ass MMA fighters and they would not even see it coming. Floyd would just have to learn the ground game but I would not want to see Floyd in the GAY MMA, it would be an insult to the sport of boxing as boxing is a much greater sport than those guys rolling around on the ground with panties on and nuts all in da' face.

Says who? You? Floyd would get obliterated by leg kicks let alone wrestling.
