As per early reported estimate, floyd vs shane did 1.1 -1.2M buys. Is this a good result or it underperformed?

For me it's below par considering both are US popular fighters!

    Your thoughts?

I don't buy that number. Didn't they say there were already 1mil buys the day before the fight even went down?

No ****ing way this fight did less than Pac/Cotto.

Well whatever the numbers are, when I was in the convenience store today, people were actually talking about the fight. As a diehard boxing fan, stuff like that makes me happy and tells me this was a positive event for boxing.

    It is actually possible.

Boxing is not a mainstrean american sports anymore. Most of the die-hard boxing fans are the latinos and emerging asians, and non
e of the combatants are latinos.

Doubt it. Too much hype on this fight. Casual sport fans were actually interested in this fight. Havent heard hype like this since DLH-Pac. and that did pretty good even though Pac was not very well known to the public.

It's true, a lot of people were talking about this one. Anywhere I went, it was being discussed and it was definitely good to see.

How many actually bought it? Not sure but we'll find out soon enough.
