Did Mosley even believe he could win?

    Didnt look like it to me. Looks like Nazim had to convince him could win. Mosley just looked happy to be in the spotlight and get paid. I know hes a nice guy and doesnt shout his gob off but he was so nicey nice with floyd. Didnt have any fire in him while Floyd looked like he had a point to prove.

    I spoke to Emanuel Steward after the fight and he said almost the same exact thing. He told me "Shane just looked happy to be there".

    As soon as I saw Chris Brown singing the anthem I knew Mosley was ****ed.

    I think Shane believed he would win at least in the lead-up to this fight.

    By the time Floyd started effortlessly countering Shane's jab over the top with that stinging quick right Shane never saw, I think he knew it was over.

    Even after round 2, he did not seem filled with confidence. He looked a bit confused. I think at that point, Shane may have already knew he blew his opportunity--which is surprising, because with a warrior like Shane, you would think he would say, "Okay!~ I caught him once, I will catch him again".

    Somewhere along the line, either before the fight, at the onset, or during those first few rounds--Floyd CONVINCED Shane he would lose.

    Whenever Mosley is having problems you can read the frustration all over his body language.

    he did when he landed that punch and wobbled floyd but his stamina is weak. at the start of the 3rd round, he sure is ****ed already!

    He did before the fight, but apparently not during the fight.

    He did, but it all ended after he couldn't finish off Floyd in the 2nd round. He was expecting to be able to manhandle Floyd and overpower him. Mayweather walked him down instead in the last 35 seconds of the fight. Mosley also knew Mayweather would make those adjustments to not be caught with those same right hands again.

    A few other things i Noticed. Did you see when the Ref give his instructions shane said something when they touched gloves. Something that was a respect gesture to floyd. Did anyone see that?

    I think Mosley was surprised and discouraged by Mayweather's strength in the clinch. Mosley was able to walk Margarito around and put him wherever he wanted, but Floyd was standing his ground in the clinch and even pushing Mosley around. Once he figured out that he wasn't faster, and he wasn't stronger, and he wasn't going to get that one punch KO, his mentality soured a lot.

    Going into the fight, yes. But Mayweather took away his confidence as the fight went on.

    We've seen Mosley have that look of frustration and discouragement before.

    I honestly believe that Shane thought his only shot of winning would be to get Floyd out of there, and once he landed those huge shots in the second round and Floyd actaully started to come after him I think that shane got alittle down. But some of you cats are tring too hard to discredit Floyd, it wasnt all about what Shane didnt do, some of that was Floyd not letting shane do those things.

    yes we have, but those that are looking to discredit Floyd will just blame it on age. Even though we saw it in his first fight with Forrest.
