Pac might have agreed to the 14-day cut-off. But after seeing the initial ppv from last Saturday, he changed his mind :D:D:D and thinking he has more leverage yet again than he previously thought.

I don't know the prices not being the US but if they were truely the prices, then 1.2 million as quoted for May-Mosley by Iole - even though I'd expect it to be more than that - isn't bad compared to the 1.25 million Pac v Cotto did. That would be $64.8 million compared to $61.25 in May's favour.

Also keep in mind that the promotion itself where Top Rank doesn't put a lot of money in the lead up to a fight where Golden boy always does. The money generated will be similar even if Floyd does a little more units or vise versa.

Again: PEDs would never have been an issue in boxing or sports in general in the past ~6 months, if not for:

    This content is protected

If they REALLY wanted to make the fight after the Marquez fight, they wouldn't have said a thing about new testing protocols.

Suddenly, AFTER fighting Marquez, they're on this "PED clean-up Crusade".

So what do you have to say over the 5-day window comment? Roach claimed Pac only feels weak for 3-4 days at most after testing. Why is he complaining about 14 days?

The ball is in Manny's court, actually. A 14 day window is no problem for him as confirmed by his own trainer. Floyd just beat the welterweight champion and consensus top 3/4 ranked P4P fighter, Manny just beat an over-rated 147 and is now talking about rematching Cotto at another catchweight.

On 12/23 the quote was brought back up, but it had been stated by Roach earlier. It was just disregarded by Arum/Pac, and Roach was told to shut up about negotiation stuff.

"But as these negotiations have taken a turn for the worst, one man’s voice in this discussion has been missing—Freddie Roach. Roach was the one who publicly suggested a 50/50 purse split, which was agreed upon by both parties. Furthermore, Roach suggested a 5-day cutoff period for the random testing. But it seems that ever since making the suggestion, Roach has been told to remain silent. Did Bob Arum or someone from team Pacquiao silence Coach Roach?"

Unfortunately, I think that might be true. He clearly has an agenda. I would love to Manny to leave Arum, for Manny and Floyd to make $60 million a-piece off this fight and ride off into the sunset enjoying their retirement-funds without that snide **** getting a single penny.

That article was posted on December 28th, five days after Roach made the comment. Nowhere in that article does it say he said it earlier than December 23rd.

Floyd has been very particular about this whole situation. Unless I've missed something, I'm pretty sure Floyd himself has never come out and categorically stated that Pacquiao is taking performance-enhancing drugs; that was May Sr.

With regards to the comment, it is clear to anyone that Arum has an agenda against Mayweather, no question. After all, Floyd paid him off for a mere $750,000 and then proceeded to make millions without him.
