I think he was ranked #1 at WW and #3 pound for pound by Ring going in. I think that he is ranked #5 pound for pound by Ring now. I think the ratings going in were sen as reasonable. That's really not fair to Floyd. He did what he had to do and won dominantly! Sure Shane was 38 but he was the best WW out there that Floyd could have faced other than a Paul Williams or Manny. Floyd deserves A LOT of props for not only taking the challenge but how he went about winning. I don't think he faced the very best Floyd but to say he is shot or old is the same thing folks have done to Manny with any of the wins he's got under his belt. Too many make excuses to rationalize why these two guys are the best in boxing. They don't want to appreciate their greatness or acknowledge that Floyd and Manny operate on anther level than their peers.
