No ones blaming Floyd for fighting him. He gets credit for that. People are just telling what they saw. Look at the DLH - Pac fight. No one gave Pac a chance. Yet afterwards, the word was DLH was weight-drained and shot. You can't have it both ways.
Dude i already responded to every question that ****** asked he just chose to ignore it,dont pick his side just cause hes a Floyd fan, instead read what i said and if you think what i said was wrong than we'll agree to disagree with no need to insult each other. That guy is talking boxrec while i actually watched the fights.
You think that was prime or close to prime Mosley? The Mosley that made a competitive fight with Cotto and destroyed Antonio Margarito may not have been prime Mosley but he was still a definite top 5 pound for pounder and top 3 welterweight. What people don't realize is that at Mosley's age the decline is more rapid. We had Mosley as third best pound for pound but that rating was based on Mosley's last fight, fifteen odd months ago. I refuse to acknowledge that Floyd beat the No. 3 pound for pounder in the sport and from now on am going to remove anyone of a certain age from my pound for pound rankings after a year's inactivity. Mosley was tired, tired early and very clearly has lost speed and reflexes. What I thought would have been an easy victory for Mosley against Berto might well have been a very different story in January indeed. I sound like I'm Floyd hating but I don't care. For the record I thought Floyd was excellent Saturday night and that Mosley remains a competitive welterweight but to label that bout as Floyd's best (as I've seen mentioned) is merely an insult to Floyd's resume (which admittedly is not great but still.) For the record I think Mayweather a terrific boxer and I am hugely appreciative of his talents and enjoy his dominant displays for the skill on show rather than being bored to death by them. I do wish he wouldn't have cherry picked some of his opposition and avoided some opponents because I think he would have beaten the majority of them convincingly and just wanted to play it safe at times despite that. I rate him as a figher and wish the judges had made the right decision the night Castillo got robbed because maybe Mayweather wouldn't then have to be so protective of his undefeated (not that I consider him to be undefeated) record. I also think Mayweather beats Pacquiao. Maybe Calzaghe should have got more credit for dominating Roy Jones. Lol! Prime for prime this is a toss up fight that I think Shane Mosley wins.
Agian,....That's really not fair to Floyd. He did what he had to do and won dominantly! Sure Shane was 38 but he was the best WW out there that Floyd could have faced other than a Paul Williams or Manny. Floyd deserves A LOT of props for not only taking the challenge but how he went about winning. I don't think he faced the very best Floyd but to say he is shot or old is the same thing folks have done to Manny with any of the wins he's got under his belt. Too many make excuses to rationalize why these two guys are the best in boxing. They don't want to appreciate their greatness or acknowledge that Floyd and Manny operate on anther level than their peers. They are gifted and talented to the point where some can't fathom their accomplishments. It's really a shame.:verysad
HAHAH DAVEY MOORE!!! THAT IS THE NAME YOU GOT?!??!?!?! You mean the Davey Moore that was a solid 12-0 for his career when they fought? You mean the Davey Moore that got TKO'd by the ATG Buster Drayton? Or you mean the Davey Moore that got out-boxed by the ATG John David Jackson? Are you actually putting Davey Moore in any category remotely close to Floyd Mayweather Jr? Yea, knocking out a guy who had a career of 18-5 really proves Duran can knock out an ATG at 147+. Again: Who OF NOTE, has Duran KO'd that backs up your **** about him KO'ing Floyd?
Mayweather is very good at widening his stance to the point where he doesn't allow his opponent to close the distance- and he leans forward to lure them in to throw a shot. From there he leans back or to the side to make them miss and then counters them by hopping or leaning forward. His timing is impeccable. As for Mosley. I think he's years after his prime. That being said i think Floyd was too good for him and showed this clinically.
I wouldnt give a **** if you were a GOD, you gets nothing from me...Better to put ya bitchass on ignore! You aint talking about ****!:hi:
Do what you want ******* you dont post anything worth reading anyway just the usual **** that comes out of someone whos obsessed with one fighter.
Says the guy who was seriously raped in this thread. Please try a little harder next time because you got your ass handed to you...Its quite sad that you and that ***** Luke cant even post under your real alias anymore...Its only the internet!:rofl
The guy is a straight up clown that only comes here to act as a cheerleader for his fellow fanboys and reply with emoticons everytime one of them makes a dumb reply that only a ****** like him thinks its funny.
I wonder how many people on these boards were saying that Mosley looked old and shot in between rounds 2 and 3? Mayweather made the necessary adjustments and took Mosley to school. Simple.
Look at the itty bitty ***** crying!:rofl Do you seriously think I give a **** what you gotta say Luke?
