Is there a STADIUM in Las Vegas to use for Mayweather-Pacquiao?

If its gonna be in a stadium, it might as well be in Dallas because of that massive HD screen. Watching a boxing match in an stadoium without those screens to look at from the further seats would be pretty pointless.

Trying cutting those numbers roughly in half(no Jumbotron in the center of the stadium means no way they can sell the nosebleed seats), except for Cowboys stadium as it has the mega Jumbotron, though there is little point in going to a fight if you have to watch off a screen, just order the damn thing at home.

Makes no sense. Shitty seats, no luxury boxes. Defeats the whole purpose of having it at a stadium if you can't charge lots of money for the tickets.

Realistically, there's no reason to hold a fight in something as large as a football stadium due to visibility issues (massive football field vs an approximately 400 sq ft boxing ring). The only possible exception is Cowboys Stadium, because you have a good number of seats for watching the ring itself (sort of like being in the MGM Grand Garden), while the rest of the seats must watch on the screen (sort of like being the other MGM properties for closed circuit viewing). And even then, there are issues because of the shape of the stadium.

Arum said Pacquiao will only fight in Nevada, Texas,, or Florida for tax reasons.

**** putting it in Texas. Anyone remember Whitaker vs Chavez? I don't want to see no AZZ backwards robbery of a decision generally favoring the brawler just so an extra 38,000 people can watch the fight live for cheap.

There is no way Vegas is gonna let the biggest fight in recent memory get away. That's a fact.

I like the idea of an outdoor stadium.

I don't want to travel to ****ing Dallas just to watch the fight on a TV screen. That's a shitload of money to see the same thing I could see on my TV. If I can't actually see the fighters I don't understand the point of going to the fight.

Now, if they put it in a city that I actually wanted to visit anyway, like New York, or Miami, or LA, that would be different. But a bunch of money to fly to ****ing Dallas to watch the fight on a giant TV? No thanks.

MGM will do everything and anything in it's power to get the fight and so will Jones in his Texas stadium. Tough call to make.
