Pac isn't exactly an all out aggressive fighter. He doen't attempt to corner his rivals, he pops in and out with his quick feet.

not the best, he is better at side stepping and turning guys coming at him. as said before, he had a little trouble cornering cotto and finishing him off. I noticed he liked to dart in and get his punches and get out, rather than plant his feet and lay into cotto.

is PBF gona run, stick his jab and shell up once pac comes in? or will he stand his ground and try to walk manny down?

neither....he wont have to walk Manny down because manny doesnt fight like that...Manny wont have to walk Floyd down because Manny doesnt apply that kind of pressure.

How good is Floyd at cutting of the ring?
During his fight with Mosley Floyd several times followed Mosley around when Molsey used lateral movement to get out of a corner. Floyd did not cut offf the ring. Now I know Floyd can, but there's a difference between knowing something and doing something.

if pac has to chase floyd around because he keeps on running running running, how can floyd accumulate enough points to win?pac wins this scenario by decision.

I don't think its wise for Manny to pressure Floyd anyway. He's smaller, has less reach, is hittable and can be hurt by Floyd. Cutting off the ring may not be advantageous.

People also don't realize that Pacquiao's 'footwork' is most effective against flatfooted fighters and I can't for the life of me recall one fight he had where his opponent didn't stay directly in his line of fire the whole fight.

What if it's Mayweather doing the stalking? Mayweather will be pressuring Manny and backing him up. Manny's strengths are when you give him space to punch.

Pacquiao has no inside fight game people. This fight is an easy pick. Manny is going to be the one who needs to employ movement, not Mayweather. Mayweather will eat him alive on the inside.

He isnt very good at cutting off the ring....Manny is a mid range fighter who isnt comfortable coming forward infighting or boxing from the outside behind a jab.

Watch the Morales fights, Cotto, Agapito Sanchez, and the Marquez fights....when he is able to bounce around and jump in he is at his best, when he either has to take the lead and/or box off the back foot he is vulnerable to punches and his defense is leaky at best:bbb

All these points being brought up are very good.
The more i think about it PBF is going to destroy Pac or at least school him.

Its such a terrible styles match up for Pac. I think if you took Pacs weakness and tried to mold a fighter who could exploit those weakness. The finished product for that would be PBF.

Pac would have to fight at mid range to have a shot but PBF can fight at any range long mid and inside. If Pac wants to fight at mid range he would have to keep PBF there and im sure PBf would have a gameplan to either keep it at long range or fighting inside off a clinch. He is that fast that he could be in those ranges before PAc gets a punch off.

Floyd can make it very hard for Pac if he chooses to run around the ring, but then he risks the judges going against him. Id strongly favour Pac if he chooses to fight center of the ring like he did Mosley.
