Consider a blood doping agent such as erythropoietin (EPO), which will increase red blood cell counts and improve stamina. Many doctors say it can be flushed out of a body in two to five days, which means the proper way to deter it is to allow testing within a few days of the fight and then immediately after.

This will be disastrous for the negotiations.

But we already knew this, which why the great cut-off debate is so bogus.

People who know how to use their brains. Speculation is not evidence but when a fighter refuses a golden chance to prove that he's clean, he's clearly got something to hide.

They can do multiple urine tests each day that blood testing is cut off.
It's not like blood testing is infallible either...

There's actually more people who think Manny is NOT on roids vs those who believe the accusations from Floyd and his team. The majority agree that stricter testing in boxing is a good movement but don't buy the messenger's message that he was trying to clean up the sport.

Manny was never opposed to taking the test but felt the way Floyd went about laying the foundation to request the Olympic style testing was irresponsible. He spread lies and rumors meant to tarnish Manny's rep whom he was suppose to want to fight.

Instead his rumors and accusations set up the demand for additional and more extensive blood testing in which Manny agreed, but did NOT agree to how close to the fight Blood could be drawn.

As everyone knew before PAC has a problem with giving blood close to a fight b/c he felt it made him weak. Floyd knew that as well and his change in stance on how he perceived Manny was very questionable.

For years Floyd never gave Manny any kind of credit...stating he was over rated...over hyped...would be an easy payday and that PAC was a cherry picker. Then....when the fight was on the horizon he knew he'd be next in line to face Manny and then he started the accusations and set up the demands that ultimately killed the negotiations for the mega fight between the two P4P kings.

Manny said 30 days, Floyd didn't accept...Manny went to 24 days....Floyd didn't accept...after that negotiations fell through and AFTERWARDS...Floyd said he'd be willing to do 14 days. By that time Manny and camp moved on b/c they probably didn't think Floyd really wanted to fight.

Now with A LOT more money on the table for both men GUARANTEED this fight is gonna happen. The drug testing issue will be resolved and the only other issue I can see as a problem will be the purse split.

They'll work it out and this fight is gonna happen to settle the big question on who is better...or who would win if they were to face off.

If the cut off date meant anything at all 14 days as a compromise from Floyd killed any credibility that he was in fact concerned about Manny doping. Plus there aren't ANY testing measures in place today that is 100% proven to catch any athletes who dope. Some get caught but most of the time it's NOT for PED's or EPO's or even roids...it catches THC more times than not.

Even with the Olympic style testing and USADA's random testing it's EASY to beat...and that comes from Victor Conte himself who knows a little bit about beating current testing measures.

PAC has never had any problems with stamina after moving up past 112. His stamina has ALWAYS been crazy which was what most who watched Manny were in awe of. His speed was deceptive...so was his power, but his stamina EVERYONE always talked about being on anther level. Now that he's evolved and in his prime he's at his best, physically, mentally and with regards to experience.
