There were things here and there that a prime Shane Mosley would have done different, but he still would have lost. Remember, prime Shane lost twice in a row to Vernon Forrest AND Winky Wright. He even technically lost the 2nd De La Hoya fight, so why is it so hard to believe Mayweather would have out-boxed him regardless of what era Shane that was last Saturday?

The difference is that prime Mosley would have been more agressive...he wouldn't have gotten popped in the mouth while talking **** in the 8th round and let that ride, that's for sure...but he still would have lost. But it would have been a lot closer. 8-4, or 7-5, perhaps.

Lets not forget his timing was against a very static looking shane.
Its not something to brag about. Yes he looked good against shane, but thats because shane allowed him to through fatigue.

In case if you haven't noticed. Mr. boxing guy. All of floyd's opponents suffers lower workrate and mental/physical fatigue, "static". Name ONE FIGHTER that fought mayweather got to fight their fight.

I'm sure mayweather would have had such problems too with cotto...

Pre and post defeated cotto would look nothing like the close match with shane..the systematic defeat by pac or the top rank initial destruction of him by concreto

Hatton to an extent, had the ref not protected floyd so much we could have seen a different outcome.
But then floyd played the game in the build up, thus making sure he would be protected from hattons inside work.
Then we have a well below par legend in de la hoya, had much success untill he ran out of steam.

:rofl:patsch Complete and utter nonsense. Mayweather clowned Hatton. Hatton could have had his dad refereeing the fight with his mother and aunties as judges, and he still would have got his Glass Jaw obliterated.

protect? Holding and hitting is a foul son. So is shoving for that matter. How dare the ref to break up the fighters when they are in clinches! Hatton have zero chance in outboxing mayweather. Everyone knew that. His only chance is to foul but he is not in England.:deal
