I'm noticing that some people are actually speculating that Mosley threw the fight. I saw in another thread people talking about it. My father believes this is true also. Said he never saw a person come so close to knocking someone out in one round and then just stop punching in the next?

I've never been much of a Mayweather fan, but I actually thought he fought a great fight, coming back from the second round the way he did.

    thoughts?

Yes, and the mob bought judges for Leonard in the Hagler fight and Foreman was poisoned by the Muslims before the Ali fight and Santa is really Satan (the letters in the name are no coincidence).

    shot?

mosely had floyd in disneyland and stopped punching. why?

he should have swarmed floyd when he was in massive trouble. thats what every other fighter would have done. but mosely stopped punching. very interesting to say the least.

Mosley tried his best to finish Mayweather, but his offense was tied up.

Mayweather won the end of round 2, and continued on into round 3.

    Mosley tried, but failed.

Did Pacquiao throw it, after knocking down JMM 3 times in the first round of their first fight only to be outboxed the remainder of the fight?

No. The better boxer adjusted and threw him for a loop. Same with Mosely/Mayweather. People also say ODLH threw the Hopkins fight. Because apparently liver shots aren't debilitating and it's unreasonable to think they could be. People are ridiculous.

No. He's just old, too slow, not as good a boxer as Floyd and well past it.

I also found his comment when interviewed in the ring after the fight about how the fans can now see Pac-Mayweather if Pac takes the tests a little weird, as if he was Mayweather's promoter and not his opponent.

But I doubt he threw the fight. He did have Floyd on ***** St. Why would he risk knocking Floyd out with those big shots if he didn't want to win? I think he just tired himself out from the 2nd round onwards. I wouldn't put anything past Golden Boy though.

Why did Mosley not continue the attack after hurting Mayweather?

The answer’s simple, and it’s got nothing to do with throwing a fight. The dude simply didn’t have enough in the tank to prolong the attack. We all saw how he began gassing instantly after that short burst; therefore it would have been a big mistake if he’d threw the kitchen then and there immediately.

Despite what many think, Floyd wasn’t that badly hurt. Sure he was seriously rocked, but he recuperated tremendously. Even if Mosley managed to knock him down on the floor, a simple 8 second count would have been more than enough for Floyd to clear his head regain all his senses. He then would have gone to outbox Mosley for the remainder of that fight.

So to put it simply, without a good stock of fuel in the tank, there really was nothing that Mosley could have done to win the fight. Depending on how Mosley now looks in his next fight, we’ll find out truly what that year and a half of inactivity did for him. Because the fact is, he was a shadow of the guy who tossed Margarito around like a rag doll.

PRIME Shane would have knocked him out, that was a shell the other night, he was gassed after throwing 10 punches and couldn't pull the trigger.

I find it hard to believe that Mosley would do that. Always pegged him as a stand up guy. But its poor form to be gassed after 2 rounds. Anybody that watches boxing knows that Floyd takes the fight well into the championship rounds. Mosley himself has two ko's in the later with his last fights.

so why does he become gassed after2?

and i do agree that JMM adjusted and fought Pac well, but Pac was fighting back too. Mosley just stopped it seems.

Like I said before, I give Floyd credit for recovering from round 2, because I think he was rocked.
