There have been a few new developments, that makes the whole alphabet soup look even more rediculous. Like new belts (example; the WBC silver Championship), Floyd not wanting to pay the sanctioning fees for the WBA Super Duper Ninja Turbo Welterweight title, and the ongoing crowning of paper champions (47 yo Evander Holyfield is again the Heavyweight Champion of the World according to a Dutch newspaper by winning the WBF belt from Botha) :?

Now the question is... Wich alphabeth do you take

    serious?
Before someone asks, I don't see 'The Ring' as one of the alphabets, but no problem if you want to mention it (there's a 'other' option available).

    Multiple options are possible.

  2. IBF. Their rules seem to promote unification.

That being said, they are still corrupt and in bed with certain promoters, and thus should be destroyed.

They're all responsible for bat**** crazy decisions but the IBF strikes me as the most understated on the bat**** front right now. But even still, I think all in all they're all the same kettle of fish in the major four. The IBO is looking more credible as a fifth by the day. I know, it's sad but I think it's true. Fifth. Five. Quintobelto.

none they are all good for hyping contenders and unheralded fighters but if you ain't got the ring your not the champ

I rarely disagree with who they call the champ but I often disagree with who they won't call the champ. I think by now, if it weren't for their 1 VS 2 (sometimes three) or beat the champ rule it would be a no brainer to call Darchinyan THE super flyweight champ for instance.

The WBC but they haven't done themselves any favours by bringing out the diamond belt.

WBC still holds the most prestige but, **** all of them.....

IBF is notorious for having people pay to fight in eliminators for title shots and having to wait years to get a shot

At the mo I'd say the IBF are the most respectable, though the WBC does seem to attract the biggest fighters more often than not, they are completely corrupt now with their silver and diamond belts, and stripping fighters for unifying (Tim Bradley).

If you ask me it's in this order

    IBF, WBC
    WBA, WBO
    IBO

I like IBO because I'm pretty sure they charge **** all fees and there ratings are by computer. That said some of there titleholders are a bit embarassing.
