i think this honestly belongs in the MMA section. But while we're on the topic, I don't think Randy would stand and trade.His best asset is his ground game.He has high Greco-Roman talent and it would serve him much better to put James on his back like a turtle and smash his ****ing face in.

I like Toney's chances in this fight because Couture likes to set up his takedowns with his boxing - which often leaves him open for a right hand. If anyone can land a nice right hand on Couture and follow it up - it is James Toney. However - if Toney misses he will get thrown to the ground and punished.
Only shot for the couture is the ground butToney has long learnt a way to clinch on the ground.Back in the air, Toney knock him out easily.

Captain America doesn't have the best stand up skills but if Toney's stance is too set for boxing and not so much MMA,he'll capitalize on it. The benefit of it being an MMA fight is Randy will have a more varied set of skills.James brings just his boxing with him and he's liable to get choked out. I doubt Toney will have any reasonable ground skills.he lied about training with Andrei Arlovski who is a decent grappler.Randy is very good at wrestling his way out. have there been updates on his training?
Randy can only beat him if he takes it to the ground and use his wrestling, but if he stands with Tony it's Lights Out for randy
Randy will win via ground and pound. Toney has a chance but its doubtful he can learn years worth of grappling and ground fighting in the time he has to train for this fight. Randy Couture has been doing this for years.
Toney needs to keep his ass out of **** like that. Couture is going to immediately take it to the ground and ground and pound or submit him easily.
Nobody in their right mind would stand and box with Toney. It's going to the ground. If Toney surprises the world with his grappling and ground game he will win, otherwise he will lose via submission.
Boxers don't have a place in MMA and MMA fighters don't have a place in boxing. They're two completely different sports. Couture wins.
