I like Cotto's jab. Unfortunately, Pac timed it.

I know that I am going to take alot of flak for this cause of the beating Cotto took BUT I think Cotto could beat the Pacman in a rematch at 147! The reason I say this is because Cotto seemed to lose his head after his hand touched the canvas in the third round ( a round that he was winning comfortably ).

If Cotto has a decent corner , Fights at his normal fighting weight ( even though they fought at a catchweight I think he came into the fight too small probably trying to get more speed ) , And if he can keep his cool ( as I said he went to pieces after his hand touched the canvas ) I think he has a good chance.

I think he hurt the Pacman a few times in the first fight :bbb

Exactly.... Pac had timed Cotto`s jab by the 2nd round. After that, it was useless...

Really? Nothing wrong with wishful thinking no matter how far fetched. But your excuses to why Cotto lost is reaching to say the least. Manny was just the better fighter and I'm sure Cotto knows that along with the majority of the folks who witnessed the beatdown.

Spot on balls. Pac tore up Cotto when the threw his jab. Just look at the left side of his face at the end of the fight.

    Once bitten twice shy.

Thanks for the gif and I agree Cotto has a good jab which Steward likes but Pacquiao figured out that rubix cube and became the puzzlemaster. I, of course, am a Cotto fan even more than I'm a Trinidad fan and was rooting for him while this fight was happening.

Didn't work much. Too much side to side movement from Pac.

Well don't forget in the post-fight interview Pac said he wanted to test Cotto's power, so the earlier rounds were played more risky. Anyway, Pac started walking through everything Cotto did later on.

    This.

I would love to see them fight again, people try to act like Pac was getting his head snapped back constantly with stiff jabs, but Cotto jumped in for the kill too quick, and a desperation punch from Manny, changed the fight around.Maybe it was Pac and Roach plan to make Cotto open himself and slug, nevertheless Cotto definitely had Pac on the ropes with the fight momentum on his side.

he was better when he fainted first and got pac to bite then followed up. When he was just throwing it out there he was getting countered because pac had it timed

This. Cotto was frustrating that night, getting Pac to the ropes only to look at him.
