I get that, but shouldn't we just leave this **** up to Floyd and Pac?

Us speculating about it proves nothing, and makes us all look like some gossip girls.

If anything we should just assume that these are two great athletes and that's it. I think eventually they will come to an agreement anyway.

Then you heard wrong. There is no way in hell a top athlete who is already in good shape can shave off .3 off your 40 time by taking steroids. No way.

As far as not giving out enough credit, the same can be said about Pac. I honestly have never heard him praise Floyd even before the allegations started. Floyd has always been ridiculed for not taking on dangerous fighters. So it works both ways. People are starting to chance their stance after last weekend but they are few and far in between.

If Floyd really believes Pac is TOO GOOD he's not going to have the interest to fight him. This is exactly why Pac should put the pressure on Floyd by agreeing to the blood tests. Once that is done, Floyd will presumably cower his way out of the fight and whoila! He's exposed as a true coward. Pac and the world laughs at him. It's a win-win situation. If Floyd does end up fighting Pac, then great...we have ourselves a mega treat. Everyone wins. It's simple, just take the tests. If it "weakens" him then find a way to get over it - just like he found a way to overcome his loss against Morales. The guy is a pro boxer, it's actually his job to overcome mental hurdles!

I've thought the same thing since the issue came up. I don't care if pacquiao is on roids with loaded gloves, a hockey helmet and the outside of his gloves covered in broken glass like on street fighter. I see no scenario in which he beats floyd.

Then you haven't been reading articles about PAC on Floyd. PAC has always said he was very impressed with Floyd. He's always said Floyd would be a difficult challlenge. Now he's a bit more forceful stating Floyd is dodging him and such...but I think that is all due to the situation that unfolded.

ANd I think PAC may go ahead and give into the blood test to make this fight...but my concern is now the hold up may NOT be the testing if Manny gives in but it will be the purse split b/c Floyd will want to get the lions share.

I don't know if Floyd really wants to face Manny or not...but I know I WANT TO SEE IT!. I agree I want to see the fight and I really don't care if Manny takes the test or if FLoyd drops the demands...Either way the fight would be made if either gave in to the other and we as fans win.

But these are two men with ego's and massive careers.....they are calling shots and we gotta wait to see how it unfolds.

I've read plenty of articles and have seen a good amount of videos on Pac/Floyd. I recall a video in which Pac tells a reporter, "He (Mayweather) isn't that good," followed by a chuckle and a silly look on his face. I can tell by the look in his eyes he wasn't joking. Send me a link to a credible source in which Pac gives solid credit to Floyd.

Although I think it's funny that Pac is now caving in to Floyd's request, it's a positive sign for fans. However there's actually no progress whatsoever. It's because when the negotiation fell apart, Floyd made it public that there will be no cutoff date and he will absolutely get the bigger chunk of the purse according to him. If the fight is to be made, Pac will have to get raped at the negotiation table as I don't see Floyd bending, especially if his fight with Mosley produces spectacular PPV numbers.

Because i'm also a die hard fan of football and know how this stuff works. If you are already in tip top shape, as i'm sure Merriman was before he took steroids, there is no way in hell you can shave off that much time by taking steroids alone.

Now, if we are talking about some fat kid and told him to get in shape and take steroids, that's a different story.

If he was on roids I would expect that since he is the biggest star in boxing that the media would protect him...until the next star arrived

Maybe because it takes more than speed and power to be an elite boxer, it takes skill and intelligence. It doesn't take much thinking when you are trying to power lift or improve track time. It doesn't also take more intelligence to hit a home run 50 feet further than your usual.

dunno if he's on peds or not but manny's workrate alone is going to be a big problem for pbf.

he looks like a frikkin superman in there throwing 100+ good punches/round in championship-rounds.
