If look at round 7 about 1:10 left in the round Floyd has Shane on the ropes and the Floyd, punches left to the body and over top with the right, same thing Shane did to him in round 2....So I started looking back at some of Floyd's other fights and realized Shane stole that move from Floyd and used it against him....He should have stole some boxing skills from him too...LOL j/k.
isn't that FLoyd is the biggest innovator in boxing history and he should be rewarded with a special prize for discovering the 'left to the body and right over top' combo? I least he could demand a special clause in the contract that if his opponent use this combination against him he should be paid 10K per each occurrence of such combo, and if ... (I said "if" to diminish the negative response from Floyd fans) anybody ever KO Floyd from this combination the fight should be set as no contest
Check the greatest KO in the history of the motha****in world.. And you see that combo long before Floyd even thought about using it.... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmLya0g815U&playnext_from=TL&videos=CsU9FjILZks[/ame]
He did a wicked one of these against Hatton that nearly took hatton head off in round 8. Scroll to 5.30. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrYj8iA1USM&feature=related[/ame]
Some of you are taking it a little too far, I was just saying in general its a good boxing combo if you are fast enough to do it and even my boy Money May couldn't dodge it in the 2nd round. If you notice in the 2nd round replay of the punch money see's it coming the whole time, but cant do **** about it....that was a SOLID punch to the f'n jaw...and he took that ish....
NO... what you'e saying is that Floyd somehow invented the combo and that there was no way in hell Mosley could have ever come up with the maneuver by himself so he had to steal it from Floyd Maywetaher. That statemnet, in fact, makes you very ignorant on the aspects of boxing.
Hearns was such a monster. He looked like he was trying to bury Duran with that right hand. I saw him at the MGM after the Mayweather/Mosley fight strutting around in a pimp ass suit. I'm accustomed to being disappointed when I see boxers in person because they are always shorter and smaller than I expect them to be, but Hearns really is a pretty tall dude for WW.
"my boy money may" LOL Anyway I think shane had his elbows out hoping froid wud do his patent body jab so he could counter over w right but mayweather was on to it
Ballsy combo to throw as it does leave you open as hell for a short counter right, but definitely around before PBF. Love the Hearns clip.
On a big side note, round 2+3, look past the action into the crowd - to Mariah Carey's left, Nick Cannon can't see ****, moves left and right over and over again - more head movement than Mosley showed all night!!!
