Stylistically RJJ was all wrong for Hagler.

I've made my mind up...Hagler wins!

Anyway, he already beat Roy Jones...

    1977-06-10 159 Roy Jones 13-1-1
Civic Center, Hartford, Connecticut, United States W TKO 3 10

The question was not who is a greater fighter but who would win. If Sugar Ray Leonard came back after a 2 year layoff and gave Hagler fits, I have to think that Jones would be a stylistic problem for the Marvelous one....

As tough as hagler was he was no were near as fast or as athletically gifted as Roy. Both had power hagler gets the edge in chin. But get this: how the he'll was hagler going to hit Roy clean? Too slow. Jones lands five to six punches in a clip. Roy tko's hagler.

Were talking about Prime Hagler, think back to the late 70's early 80's.

Are you basing Hagler not being afraid to go overseas to "get" his belt on him defending the belts he already had in Italy one time?

RJ all day. He's just way too fast and physically gifted for Hagler to get to him.

Again, 160. Jones fought a very young Hopkins at 160 and couldn't knock him out. He fought no one else worth a **** at MW. At MW, Hagler wears Jones down.

No way. RJ is just way too fast for Hagler. He would be out before Hagler even starts throwing.

I love RJJ but I think Hagler gives him fits from his southpaw stance, great chin and impressive bodywork.

How would Jones handle someone running at him from the opening bell?

Counter and move? Counter and move? How would Hagler deal with Jones' amazing foot speed, hand speed, reflexes and explosive power? This is RJ at his peak. Not the shot RJ we are talking about.

Who on earth did RJJ fight and beat at 160? How many fights did he even have at 160 that weren't in some shed in Pensacola?
