nice vid there mate, good angle. pac just looks fast even from a distance. Cotton landed some hard shots too
Thanks for posting my video rochsolloch, and I appreciate all the extra views it got from real boxing fans but there's no need to pretend it's your video. The page where the youtube video resides shows where it gets embedded and seeing it spike an extra 1,000 times in the past few weeks got my attention. I took about 800 pictures of the fight from my seat, as well as video of round 2, but I was nervous about getting caught by the ushers so the quality isn't nowhere near as good (it's all shaky in a lot more places). I'll post some of my favorite shots that I took as well as round 2 video shortly.
I'd love to see round 4 from this angle...that round may have been the most excited I ever was in all of 2009.
Damn fellas, no way anyone including Mayweather has faster one punch speed... That **** was ridiculous when he let his hands go whether one or two. But Yea Cotto looked top notch and definite championship caliber.... Much respect to both...
Amazing seats, and a camera with a beautiful picture for an outstanding fight. Can we take that camera, put it in a time machine, and come back with Greb-Tunney II by chance?
Hi blastmaster - the video was recorded at 24 fps at 720p. I called the box office at the MGM grand garden before going there if it was ok to take pics and they said it was fine but no professional type cameras and no video. I had the camera body in one pocket of my jacket and the lens in the other pocket and was nervous walking through the metal detectors but my lens is plastic so I didn't set it off. Luckily my DSLR doesn't look like a video camera so it didn't look like I was filming. I also had an ultrawide lens with me so I was pretty bogged down with camera equipment. I was way up there in the "cheap" seats ($300!!) so I just pointed it at the action while witnessing the fight without really getting the attention of anyone. All the ushers and security were glued to the action in the ring anyway. But the arena is much smaller in person so unless you're on the long sides of the garden (which go way far back away from the ring since it's an oval) none of the seats are bad. I'm still trying to find the other round I shot but can't find it on my PC. I'll have to look later. This was my best video though which is why it's on youtube.
Sorry to dig out this old thread, but what an epic ownage of the OP. That was cruel, he just wanted to be cool!
