Well, I think most anyone knows Floyd was better @ 140 and south. That's saying a lot though, cause he pretty damn good at WW.

I don't think you could count out Floyd in either matchup, but nobody will ever know what "would" happen.

If Hearns fought Leonard today Hearns would have won due to the 12 round fight. Puts a little perspective on the old days and modern boxing. How many great championship bouts today would be turned around those last few rounds?:huh

I would say that PBF would be competitive with any welterweight of any era.

But there's a few who would beat him.

And those few include Leonard and Hearns.

I think Floyd would have a chance with Sugar.

Hearns would have been way too much though.

I would give him a 50/50 shot with both

do you really think so? he was pretty much on the run from the sixth onward. either way, leonard ran him out of the ring.

I dont think Floyd would embarass himself in either fight.

However, Hearns scores a middle rounds stoppage and Ray Leonard wins by points decision or late stoppage. Mayweather doesnt really have any advantages over either fighter except perhaps a slight speed advantage against Tommy. But Hearns is still quick enough and clever enough (and can box) to create his openings
