You dont want this fight, Popkins, we both know it :D

The reason is because you know what is likely to happen.... Mayweather UD Pacquiao.... different level of fighter, you know this :good

Yes. It was bound to have some affect, otherwise they would have fought at 147, it's completely obvious. Why would he insist on a catchweight instead of fighting at 147 and not risking these sort of accusations if it made no difference.

It definately had some effect or they wouldn't have done it. How much I don't know, I'm not at all suggesting that if it was at 147 that Cotto would have won or anything like that, but it is bound to have had at least a little effect.

This is the train of thought for Pacquiao & Roach. They refused to fight Mosley above a weight he couldn't possibly make healthily, and they dragged Cotto down to a catchweight for what people seem to think was just for a laugh.

Mosley is like a black Erik Morales; for all of his talent and physical attributes, he prefers to wage a bloody war inside the ring and leaves his boxing tactics right in his corner.

At his age, against Pacquaio, whose speed and power combination at 147 is just simply lethal, that kind of warrior mentality will be his bane. He might hit Pacquaio with his own big punch, but I would lean on the faster and more active hands of Pacquaio to check his chin with more frequency and solidly.

I can say with my hand on my heart that I want Pacquiao vs Mayweather to happen more than I've ever wanted any fight to happen... even more than I wanted an immediate Hopkins-Calzaghe rematch at the time. And it's not even that close either. Pacquiao will shock the world. :good

    Not at all!!:nono

Just because Floyd was able to take Shanes gameplan away after the 1st 2rds doesn't mean it would be the same for Pac! The difference is Pac will be hitting Shane but Shane will be tagging Pac back which IMO would be a big problem for Pac, not Shane!

Shanes problem w/Floyd was a mix of frustration, gameplan loss & the fact that he couldn't touch Floyd up! Shane was getting done to him what most Floyd opponent have done except he seemed more baffled. The fact that Shane had speed too but couldn't find the target really frustrated him then throw in the fact that he was getting counter everytime he did throw and he's done! He couldn't stop what was coming! Now mind you, Shane doesn't mind getting hit but he likes to hit back & hit hard as in the Margo fight! He was getting hit but he was also getting off too so he was still there mentally & physically! That wasn't the case w/Floyd! Pac will hit Shane but he will take his licks too which will keep Shane Motivated & energized! I highly doubt Pac has the power to stop Shane but I don't don't the reverse!!

Stop w/the "Shane was shot" ****, it was the opponent in front of him! Shanes a bad man & he would do some bad things to Pac if they ever fought.. believe that!!

After seeing him in against Mayweather. I think he would KO him in the late rounds.

A rapid, relentless Manny Pacquiao would be the tired old Shane Mosley's absolute ****ing NIGHTMARE!!!!!
