The % gdp the US gives in foreign aid is pittance compared to other developed nations. They are stingy in comparison to many.

I disagree. Poland is not known for low blows and weak hearts :patsch

Adamek is alot more like Poland, a big heart, and a smaller guy fighting bigger opponents (Russia,Germany)

    Golota is a disgrace

Yeah - for America it depends when. This country has changed substantially since the early days of boxing.

Jack Johnson, Joe Louis, Ali, SRL, Tyson, ODLH and FMJ can all makes cases for representing America during their reign.

Johnson - strong, brash and product of segregated America
Louis - strong, patriotic, international importance
Ali - brash, skillful, clever, "child of the 60s"
SRL - fast, strong, rich and pretty - quintessential early 1980s boy
Tyson - fast, strong, angry - quintessential late 80s and early 90s (recession)
ODLH - skillful, representative of the modern American Mexican dream
FMJ - brash, skillful, rich, panders to the lowest common denominator - undoubtedly great
