LoL - good story. I think it was Gilbys that sponsored a lot of the Eastwood shows - I think Smirnoff is/was one of their big brands.

You must have spent too long in the VIP bar that night John! Just checked Tucker and Coetzee's record on boxrec and nothing on there about either of them having ever fought in Belfast! Botha had a first round KO that night alright. Hate to be picky too but Carruth's debut was in London and he got floored by a journeyman with the first punch he ever took in the pro's although to be fair it was more of a slip but it probably set the scene for how Carruth's pro career would go!

I suppose given that Barrett and Murray are only scheduled for 6 then they were never going to be in too tough though. Still looks to be a cracking bill though, really looking forward to seeing how Garcia does with Sipos after his sparring with guys like Ornelas and Vera.

Bit of a promo vid on Thiam here, looks like an animal but I'd imagine most of these clips are from the last century!
Still his power should make things interesting.

Who was this fool Slappy? I bet it was Martin Ward.

Tell him to ring me on 1-800-URGONNAGET****EDUP and we can arrange the fight.
