I just can't believe Tony is getting this shot, with zero MMA fights. Dana says he doesn't like circus' but this is exactly what he's giving the fans -- a side show.
Yeah, doesn't take long to learn. I wonder what those idiots that spend their lifetime perfecting it are doing? Don't they know?
I pretty much agree with this. The only factor i can see going against Couture is age which has slowed him down a bit but he ain't exactly against the road runner in Toney except if the buffet is on the other side.
if dana was serious about promoting his sport, he should have at least sent a representative to watch toney train. I'd have to at least see him working on some grappling before I'd sign him. toney's only chance is if couture is really stupid, incredibly shopworn or both. all couture has to do is close safely then control along the cage for a takedown. toney's condition will be his undoing quickly on the ground and a simple workingman's ground and pound will finish him off quickly. I'd be shocked if he went past a round.
Why should Dana have to watch Toney train and see how he would do?Toney asked for it and followed Dana around like a stalker demanding the contract.let him get his face smashed in.He asked for it. Would you dismiss the UFC or MMA as a sport if Tank Abbott demanded a fight with the Klitschko brothers and got his head knocked off?Hell no. Toney is only going to embarass himself if he loses, not boxing.
i've repeated the same thing at least 3 times bro.lol. Toney didn't go public and state "I want to represent Boxing against the UFC.Bring on your best,I will knock them all out.FOR BOXING!" Even if he did, boxing would say "the views expressed are those of James Toney.Have at it,Brock."
comprehending your irrelevant dribble is difficult. wait... think of a witty reply and get back to me..
Don't need to. You wouldn't get it if you can't catch simple sarcasm. (Which was the point of the post you originally quoted) Pseudo-wit isn't wit.
Okay, read and re-read if it's difficult for you. The guy was implying that one could learn wrestling techniques easily and quickly. That's ridiculous. I then replied as I did and in a manner to suggest that he's right (wrong...remember, sarcasm) and those idiots that spend their lifetime perfecting these techniques are wasting their time (again...remember...sarcasm). My point, if it's not already obvious, is that suggesting that an entire discipline is easy and quickly learned is absurd. (Unless you're talking about zodiac based astrological predictions, or something equally silly)
