As much as I'm a Floyd fan I think that he and pac should fight each other and that should be their last fight. All this talk about Floyd fighting at middle weight seems to be a bit dangerous. I would hate to see Floyd and pac get old and still be fighting in a misguided attempt to reclaim some lost glory ala Roy jones jr., Bernard hopkins, Holyfield, mosley etc. I would hate to see Floyd, pac and other young fighters with slurred speech etc.

After Floyd beats pac all the props he would get for it would be enough to make him proud to retire.

I would imagine that's what both fighters want to do.

Really, what would either have to prove after the fight?

I'd be surprised if Mayweather gets props for beating Pacquiao. Personally, I would be interested for both of them to have their biggest fight in their career's against each other then retire. Greatest farewell fight between two fighters at the near end of their careers but still relevant perhaps?

Floyd can fight another 50 fights and not worry about slurred speech later on.

Anyone think Floyd would put a rematch clause in for himself? His ego is too big to let anyone just beat him and then simply walk off.

I think there would be a rematch clause for both fighters. They would see how much money they pulled from the fight and would go at it again.....But I could see if it was a brutal beating/ko they wouldnt want to take the rematch.

Hey, Floyd actually fighting a guy in his prime would be a good start.
