http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2875370/paulie_malignaggi_is_brooklyns_own.html?cat=14 The link above is an article talking how Paulie Malignaggi has a good jab. He also have excellent hand speed. And he can move really well in ring. Is there a good chance that Paulie Malignaggi could pull upset and beat Amir Khan?
Yes...everyone seems to be underrating Malignaggi in this match up. It's Khan's debut in America, nerves could play a part. He had trouble with his visa, which won't help his nerves. And Khan has never fought anyone close to Malignaggi's style, or skill level.
If Breidis "no skill" Prescott could do it Malignaggi can as well. The only think is he doesn't have power. I believe this will be a close fight were Khan doesn't look like a god in there, people will then call him exposed and overrated, like what happened to Vanes against Ouma.
Anything is possible in boxing. I still feel Khan has the edge in speed and definitely power. Late stoppage for Khan.
I'm rooting for Pauly and thinks he has a legit chance at beating Khan. Hell it wouldn't be out of the question that Paulie knocks Khan down or out due to Khans glass jaw.
He'd have to fight the perfect fight and rattle Khan's jaw in the process, discourage Khan from going on the offensive. He has a lot going against him, but there is no reason to think this fight isn't winnable for Malignaggi. Just it's not as likely as Khan winning it.
I expect a close fight, going to the cards.....Paulie just has to be paulie and not get caught in trading exchanges with khan for too long, or he will drop rounds.....He should use ALL of the ring he can, circle, jab, drop some right hands, clinch if khan comes in to close....and repeat....
This isn't going to be Diaz in front of him. Khan is very quick and he will force Paulie back. Paulie won't get that much success after a little, he will be throwing those don't hit me punches.
If this fight is a close malignaggi win, it will go to a re-match I guarantee it, that's if khan loses...
