You probably weren't a boxing fan when these guys were at their best in the late 90s, early 2000s. They were amazing fighters from 135-147. They deserved they're P4P #1 status.

Mosley had great Lightweight run where he was knocking everybody out and then he went up two divisions and beat DLH more comprehensively than Trinidad did at 147. With his losses, Forrest was a very good fighter who just had his number, like Norton had Ali's. Prime Winky would've been a tough proposition for anyone in history. Mosley gave him two good fights at 154 which was never his best weight. The Cotto, Mayweather losses came at the tail end of his careers against prime young champions.

DLH probably lost to Sturm, but he was robbed of two victories over Trinidad and Mosley in their rematch. He have Mayweather his toughest fight at the tail end of his career, the only guy to beat him on a judges card. Add to that wins over Chavez, Whitaker, Quartey, Vargas, Castillejo, Mayorga, Campas, MA Gonzalez, Hernandez, Leija, Ruelas, Camacho, Gatti.. no hype job :nono

If they're hype jobs, then pretty much every other top fighter around when they were fighting were hype jobs. Is Trinidad a hype job having gotten outclassed and outboxed by every elite fighter he fought with his best wins being a controverial SD over DLH and KOs of not so great fighters Vargas, Reid, Mayorga and Joppy? Is Hopkins a hype job, who's best wins came against smaller opponents and, besides Tarver, lost to every top fighter who was his size ( Calzaghe, RJJ, Taylor x2)? What about Winky who lost to the likes of Vasquez and Harry Simon and Vargas, Hopkins, P.Williams with his best wins coming against smaller guys Mosley, Quartey and Trinidad? Fact is all those guys were great fighters, only a fool would say they were just hype.

You highlited some of ODLH wins, which if scrutinised, can be explained, but skipped over Mosleys, is this because you realise Mosley doesn't have very good wins?

Mayorga was garbage, he fluked a win against Clott when Clott deserved it.

This has to be top 10 dumbest threads in ESB.

Two proven fighters who are both great champions and you have the nerve to call them hype jobs?

I was DLH fan so I know who he beat without looking it up. I always believed DLH was the better boxer, but c'mon, Mosly was a great fighter.

Mosley, let me see, had great lightweight reign, from memory he was at one stage something like 31 KOs from 32 wins, quite a few title defences.. best wins= Holiday, Molina, Leija, DLH, Vargas, Collazo, Mayorga, Margarito... not too shabby

    Those 4? really lol?

Margo shouldnt have been allowed to fight that night, his head wasn't in it, you can't catch a guy cheating, then expect him to fight when he knows hes about to be thrown to the dogs, unreasonable and therefore void.

Even with those names on his resume, for a supposed prp1 and atg, over 21years, thats still worse than Calzaghes resume that everyone berates him over on here!
