Foreman > all. Guy was made for TV

Of the current crop, I'd probably take Tarver.

Jones easy. The guy could always put Larry in his place and he actually expressed emotion whenever the fight got really going. Besides that he was very knowledgeable.

I think Tarver is the "best" on the list, but my favorite would probably be George Foreman. I know he got it wrong A LOT, but I grew up watching him and he has that nice, gentle giant approach. Remember when he helped break up the riot at MSG? Big George was funny too.

Not,it's not, actually.Americans use the expression,"color commentator" to describe that person engaging in the act of explaining the action while it is transpiring. It's used to refer to the "action" commentators in many televised sport in the States.

Yup. That could be confusing if you hadn't heard the term used before.

Bobby Czyz for example, has Polish/Italian blood in him. Don't know that is anything to do with color.

It is a hilarious coincidence that he said color commentator and listed a bunch of black guys. It's even more hilarious how stupid some of you are for not knowing what a color commentator is.

Where I am from the term is never used. It just isn't in the vocabulary.

If you check the wiki link I posted you will see it is rare outside of the USA.

If you're from the UK I'm not buying it.

If you're from zimbabwe or something, then you're excused.

I like a few of them on this list, but Sean O'Grady is by far the best IMO.
