damn Lyoto ate 3 punches that would have KO'd anybody before actually BEING KO'd, I thought Lyoto would of won a UD but i gotta admit it was kinda sweet to see Shogun win since i felt he won the 1st fight and he was always a top echelon fighter and worthy to be champion.

    Nah,

White wants to keep feeding Silva bums to bore him at 185.

Hopefully he'll do the right things and put Silva in with the winner of the Shogun vs Rampage/Evans fight.

Then hopefully he'll give GSP a title shot at 185.

White is stopping guys from moveing up and getting title shots they deserve when they clean out their division.

We should have had GSP vs Silva at 185 by now then Silva getting a title shot at 205 right away if he beat GSP.

It was a lucky shot to the top of the temple, but props to Shogun. He made Machida change his style and had him taking more risks which allowed Shogun the opening to land that shot. Hope Machida bounces back and maybe we can see a rubber match sometime down the road.

Yeah - we should have seen the GSP/Silva fight by now - but Anderson screwed that up with his bizarre in-ring antics in his last few fights. Dana White doesn't want to promote the biggest fight in UFC history and then have Silva act like an idiot and refuse to fight in the ring. It would be a disaster. Silva even pissed me off with his last few fights. He's had his opponents clearly outclassed - but has refused to take chances or press the advantage. I hope Chael Sonnen mauls the **** out of him.

Shogun is the better fighter, two fights now he beat Machida, only gets credit for one though.

Shogun slipped the punch and landed a nice counter. Nothing wrong with that. IN MMA you don't have a ref protect you when you get knocked down - the guy gets to come over and beat your face in some more. That's the name of the game.

Exactly I agree 100%, when you get knocked down in mma and are legitimately rattled your in big danger. Also I'm happy for Shogun and Machida had it coming he always sticks his chin out there i'm glad he got caught this time, i know it landed more on the temple but same premise he always exposes himself when he attacks his chin is always up in the air.

Machida could have recovered on the ground. He should have covered and bridged instead of going for the grab/hide your head close defense. Against a vicious Brazilian fighter - that was a major mistake.

And he deserves it. It was a cowardly, ***** move on Daley's part. If you don't have the skill to beat your opponent fair and square, punching him after the fight makes you look even more pathetic.
