Darke was magnificent last night. It was garbage and he told you that it was garbage. He was just short of saying that Cintron did a Drogba. Williams had pathetic timing and Darke told the truth. The crowd of about 307 rightly booed. Why, if Cintron, was so injured from his double tuck with twist exit was there not a doctor/medic with him at all times? Buffer looked disgusted. The rematch will be at Ponds Forge off the 3 metre board in a few weeks time!

    Adios.

 Yes Sir Ian is tops for me,speaks as he finds & see's with all honesty unlike the majority of Yank commentators (past/present) who are more interested in hearing themselves & always appear/sound scripted.

Ian Darke is always brilliant and last night he was no different. As an aside, I actually quite enjoyed seeing Smith as the anchor as well; Sky should just replace Dave Darts with Smith. About the only positives any of those, like myself, got from staying up all night to watch the debacle live:-(.

Ian Darke is brilliant by miles the best part of Sky's coverage. But he shows Sky coverage and ethos all in one a brilliant commentator that is supposed to specialise in Boxing has now been pushed into Football as his main coverage (mainly for League 1 games between the likes of Oldham-Leyton Orient) because he is a good commentator even for a sport that he doesn't specialise in and Sky live off Football love and as long as the nation likes that and nothing else they know they will dominate the sport broadcasting business now he only commentates on Boxing sparingly even though that is his specialist sport. I'm sorry but I really dislike Sky and their coverage of Boxing is terrible no wonder the sport struggles to bring in new fans.

Darke is clearly the best we have at Sky, and I also like Watt being in the studio as well rather than commentating.

As an aside, were Darke and Nelson actually at the fight? I'm sure Darke was commentating on the Blackpool match earlier in the day :think
