Paul Williams vs. Shane Mosely

This seems to be an ideal match-up for both fighters. Shane is still very dangerous and PW needs another name on his resume. PW will have a hard time getting Floyd/Manny into the ring at this point, particularly after the way the Cintron fight unfolded. PW's status is in question and he needs to beat a Mosely or a Berto.....I see both fights as even. Mosely will be equally avoided if he decides to come back and Berto needs more recognition as well.

BUT, like Lampley said last night...if PW keeps fighting at 54 then he's not really putting himself in the position to get the fights he wants. PW needs to prove he can still cut the mustard at 147 (he looked pretty thin at 162 last night) before he deserves a shot at Manny/Floyd.

**** Cheato....Put him in against Mosley again so we can watch him get his ass kicked, that's what everyone wants. Besides, if Mosely is shot, what does that say about Cheato? Talk about someone who has something to prove. He should have to beat everyone before he gets Berto, FMJ, or Pac

 

True story, he's SO exposed

He's there for the taking. Top guys beat him all day. Floyd slaughters him, Pac ruins his face forever, Mosely would tee off on him, Clottey would look much better against him than he did against Pac.

I disagree, Mosely feels much better and stronger when he is able to land on his opponent. He gets mean and busy. He was not that against Mayweather because he was defeated mentally after Mayweather responded. PW is more vulnerable than Cheato imo. Mosely would land LOTS of punches. Not saying that PW couldn't get him out of there but I see at as a more evn fight with PW the slight underdog but a very live one.

 

I have to agree PW is probably not a welter any more but wants the $$ as much as anyone and would probably drain himself like Oscar did just for a paycheck. If I were Pac or FMJ, he'd be my first pick if they couldn't work it out. IT will be viewed as a great achievement for both
