Maybe i do need to watch it again, but Bradley did what Bradley does in all is fights, he's a tough mofo who came to fight, I was disappointed in Peterson tho, and felt it was very one sided.
Maybe i expected more form Peterson, having never really seen him, and only know him as the guy who supposedly broke Mayweatehrs ribs, i was quite disappointed.
But one thing i would add is, there is no way Khan would fight like Peterson did against Bradley, i dont think he'd present himself as a target with Roach in his corner.

No, but he wouldn't have anything to keep Bradley off. Khan has his skills - he's fast, he's mobile, his jab-straight is a good little weapon, he occasionally throws uppercuts, and his height would pose Bradley problems. I think Bradley would need to give up early rounds to Khan's activity and mobility, but I know he'd be cutting off the ring and going to Amir's body every chance he got.

Peterson was confounded by Bradley on the outside, which is why he was knocked down early. He had the longer reach and was out-jabbed and timed constantly. Amir's no cutie, so I can see the same thing happening. Khan doesn't have the inside game to keep Bradley off, so I think this is going to be a very tough fight for Amir.

 

The knockdown from what i remember was more to do with Bad balance on Peterson's part and getting a glancing blow to the top of the head rather than anything landing flush.
Khan does struggle on the inside, but i think with his improved footwork he can keep Bradley off him, and with his improved power at 140 could cause Bradley some problems with his long straight punches, as Holt did.
Bradley would be favourite, but i think with Khans style, he'll be a more difficult task than Peterson was, cos under Roach, Khan is moving constantly/

You do know that the only champ they have is Choi, and he's been inactive for nearly a year. Not to mention the fact that if Gavin won the WBU he wouldn't be able to headline shows on Sky (seeing as they only broadcast legitmate title fights with the exception of the Hattons).

Gavin will always have the likes of Degale and Saunders and other Warren-nites to stack his cards, so I think Sky would be interested in him headlining shows, despite having a IBO/WBU belt. They were raving about Matt Hatton's draw for the "world championship" against Ndou, so it could very much happen.

 

I've seen no evidence of any power improvement. Salita was chinny, that was well established.

Also, Holt's a much bigger puncher than Khan and can actually fight on the inside. It's been a while since I saw that fight, but I seem to recall he caught Bradley on the inside rather than at the end of straight punches.

Warren didn't sign the three olympians to fight on undercards for the rest of their careers. Eventually he will require each of them to headline their own shows.
Because of the current situation with Groves picking up the Commonwealth & seemingly at the front of the queue for the British, Degale won't be able to headline shows whilst fighting for shitty intercontinental titles.
BJ Saunders is nowhere near title level as yet.
Warren won't want Gavin to be another who will be unable to headline his own bills for the foreseeable future.
In short the WBU are dead. Even Willie Limond ditched his WBU title, and he's really struggled to land fights in the last few years.
Warren hasn't had any dealings with them for a while.

Other than the Hattons, there been no other IBO/WBU titles fights on Sky in the past few years.
Prior to Ricky Hatton acquiring the vacant IBO lww strap, Colin Lynes held the same title, but he was told to ditch that title by Sky to fight more more recognised, meaningful belts.
The only reason Matt Hatton was allowed to fight for the IBO is because he's Ricky's little bruvva, and Hatton could do as he pleased as he was Sky's ppv goldenboy.
Now that he's seemingly retired i'm not sure even Matt Hatton will be allowed to fight for the IBO.

Funnily enough even though the commentators were referring to Hatton-Ndou as a world title fight, their captions at the bottom of the screen referred to Ricky as a 'two weight world champion 2005-7', completely disreguarding his IBO/Ring title fights.
Sky's consistency wavers when the Hattons are involved.
