    What next for Kimbo Slice?

I am a big fan and dissapointed that UFC cut him after Mittrione pulled an upset him.

how about: leave and quit being (god only knows why) a name in MMA. he's too old and has too few skills to go anywhere other than back to youtube beating up untrained people for a quick buck. yes, he's a likeable guy and seems surprisingly humble, but he only adds to the bad rep MMA gets from everyone else.

Go back to fighting in back yards. I like the guy but he is just a big dude with heavy hands. Any person with decent ability will beat him.

Some freak show fight like Herschel Walker or Pudz would be my guess.

He'll be either over in Japan or soemthing, or he'll be doing the rounds with the likes of Butterbean. That's my guess, he'll probably fight Ken Shamrock or soemthing.

Kimbo can fight for years in Japan if need be. No doubt - Strikeforce will pull him in very quickly. Kimbo is a featrued fighter on UFC Undisputed 2010 - so he'll still be a hot commodity for some time. The UFC should have held on to him a bit longer. He'll make a nice road back opponent for James Toney after Randy Couture dismantles him.

I can't figure out why Kimbo keeps losing. He has the talent.

I think that triangle choke sapped his strength to be honest. I thought that he was finished. If you watch the Alexander fight, he didn't gas out quite so fast. Either way, it's obvious that he won't ever be an elite fighter, and he sorta demands elite money... so it's hard to keep a guy like that around and make money.

Kimbo doesnt demand anything. EliteXC put their brand on his shoulders. And Dana saw a cash cow that turned out to be a cash calf.

Kimbo didnt gas vs Alexander fast because he just stood and walked slowly in a small circle the 1st 5 minutes. Great way to conserve energy.

Why the hell was he promoted so heavily? I thought Kimbo was a really good fighter.

I remember when he lost the first time, the annoucers considered it the biggest upset of all time.

You can't be serious. Even that mma fighter without arms and legs got coverage and he is not gonna make a run for the title anytime soon (pun intended)

    2. Those announcers were jackasses. I for one was never shocked when kimbo got dropped by the punk rocker.

And one thing I agree with Dana on is " Kimbo will always be the toughest man at the BBQ". But he is not on the professional level.

Kimbo was promoted so heavily because he was a household name from youtube. Not because he is talented. Kimbo fans bought ppv just to see kimbo, then they were exposed to other real fighters and possibly became fans of the sport.
