Agreed. Cotto was already seen as a fighter on the decline while Mosley was seen as the top guy at WW. They were both impressive, but in general, I viewed Mosley as a bigger threat than Miguel Cotto.

Both, very good wins though. Pacquiao bullied Cotto around the ring.

mosley will be badly beaten in his next fight against a top guy. He is old and shot now look at his fight with floyd for proof and dont say it was because of floyds skill if that was the case he would still be throwing shots but missing but that wasnt the case. He had stamina for two rds and that was it he was sucking wind. Interesting enough he almost kod him in those two rds imagine that kind of pressure for 12 rds in his prime. Any body who thinks mosley was on the top of his game is a complete fuk wit and licks floyds sac. I hope he doesnt continue fighting because people will start to doubt his greatness the way they do jones now and thats sad because jones would have never have lost to calzaghe bernard tarver and especialy green in his prime.

    Pac v Cotto

Please most people were 50/50 when it came to that fight.

    PBF was a 80/20 Fav

They were both great wins taking nothing away from PBf at all.

But Pac put a beatdown on Cotto and stopped him.

I must admit that the Cotto fight impressed me the most out of all the Pacquiao wins after the Morales defeat.

To answer the question,i have to go with Mayweather's win over Mosley.Yes,Shane is 38 years young but he realy hasn't shown much decline.Mosley did have alil bit of a ruff time with Mayorga, but did get the job done with the late KO.
Mosley in his last fight did something no fighter was able to do,when he kicked Margo's ass all over the ring and stopped him the way he did.

Pacquiao's win over Cotto is a bit tanted because of the fact that Manny's team made Cotto come down to 145lbs for Cotto's welterweight title, and was previously brutally stopped by a fighter who possibly cheated with bricks in his fist in Margarito.
Sorry but IMO Cotto was never the same fighter after that brutal loss to Margo.Cotto wasn't the same wrecking machine that fought Malignaggi or Judah.Seemed to me like Cotto lost confidence and his killer instict after that huge loss to Margo.

    Mayweather's win over Mosley.

I'll def go with the Mosley/Mayweather. The Cotto/Manny fight was not fought at the natural and original 147 and Cotto was coming off a tough fight against Clottey and perhaps not in the right mind of state with all the personal issues. Mosley was consider the number 1 guy in boxing after the destruction of Margacheato and was one of the hungriest guys in boxing. Mayweather simply fought a brilliant fight, which finally gave him some respect as a fighter at 147.

Yeah, that's why the board had the Pac/Cotto fight at almost 50/50 while pretty much everyone thought PBF would win.

Floyd UD win over Mosley was more impressive by far! Pacquiao beat a shot fighter who was pretty much physically damaged after taking that beating from Magaritto... whereas Floyd beat Mosley who was the #3 P4P fighter in the world and the toughest WW in the division!

Floyd beat the best welterweight (Mosley) who slaughtered Magaritto, whereas Pacquiao ko'd a physically damaged Cotto who was destroyed by Margaritto!

Pacquiao won in a more impressive fashion by knocking Cotto out, but Floyd beat the better fighter... Mosley was a bigger threat to Floyd than Cotto was to Pacquiao! Floyd was hurt badly and survived the 2nd round in which he was almost knocked out! Let's not forget that, he beat Mosley who had a great trainer (Nazim Richardson) in his corner as well

    You must've lost your mind!

Or maybe you're just another Floyd hater!

You think Pacquiao knocking out a shot weight drained Cotto who was just brutally knocked out by Magaritto and was clearly on the decline is more impressive then Floyd's UD victory over Mosley who was the #1 WW and #3P4P fighter in the world who had just came off a ko victory over Margaritto?

    You must be smoking!

The question is very easy to answer

What's more impressive.... knocking out a guy who was just brutally beaten and weight drained (Cotto didn't fight at 147 he fought Pacquiao at a catchweight of 145) or beating the toughest WW in the division and #3 P4P fighter in the world who just came off a knockout win?

I would say the latter is... anyone who says otherwise is on something!

If you call Cotto shot and weight drained, you must have not seen the fight.

Take time and watch it. :good
