They are nowhere dense as you if you really believe Schaefer was serious when he mentioned 3 and 4 million buys. That was not a serious projection, that was him throwing out big numbers to grab attention. Please stop acting stupid, it's getting old.
It's saying not meeting a projected number is a failure. It means they were wrong. IT MEANS THEY FAILED TO GET THE NUMBERS THEY WANTED YES FAILED. FAILURE. Jesus christ.
If that is true....those are the numbers I thought originally. I knew that there was no way 1.1 million was an accurate number! Not with both Shane and Floyd. I said the fight would do around 1.5 million so 1.4 is a little lower than I expected but not the extremely poor numbers of 1.1 or 1.2 Million that have been reported by most media outlets. Even if it did do 1.1 million that is VERY good numbers....but the reports for 3 million or more was hysterical!:rofl
Uhhhh.. yes. They seriously believed with their record setting promotion fees they were going to generate 3 million buys. They projected it would break the PPV record. They said it multiple times. I didn't believe it, obviously. I picked 1.5 - 1.6 million. I think that is a great number, and actually realistic. That's why I call it a failure for them. I know you guys are trying your hardest to spin it like i'm calling this fight a failure and saying the guys can't draw, but i'm not. I honestly don't give a **** about the numbers nearly as much as floyd fanatics like you guys do. I just love that you think it defines a boxer.
Mayweather said he would stop Mosley, he didn't. I guess that fight was a failure as well. Pretty much every Top Rank ppv has been a failure considering Arum always throws out numbers that end up being higher than the actual numbers. Luke is clearly playing a losing game of semantics.
Yes. he failed to knock clottey out. What the **** else would you define it with? He second placed his prediction with a UD? You idiots need to go back to school.
They're good numbers sure but it is a failure, in a business sense, if you only get half of what you were targeting for.
