Difference with Armstrong is that he won a WW title whilst weighing in at the LW limit ...he really didn't go up that much in weight during his career, only what you would expect of a maturing male.

I do like how Mitchell has picked out that well known American Manny Pacquiao.

a point about pacquio, he would have been drained down to nothing to make the lighter weights, they have to carry them to the scales, things are done a lot more severly than in uk. he'd be a natural l /welterweight, boiled down to s /fly, to begin with.:think

He's only speaking the truth, and has the bottle to say it as well.

    Fair play to him.

Remember that Calzaghe, Khan, Mitchell, Chisora and similar all have the same tone of voice when press releases go out... almost as if it's written by Warren's in-house PR guy...

Just a theory. Kev's a good lad. None too sharp academically, but nice kid who shows a lot of respect to his opponents. He's been nice about Katsidis cause he knows he's in for a ****ing hellacious fight on Saturday,

How's he speaking the truth? If by truth you mean unsubstantiated rubbish, yes.

Reckless comments but I think he's generally a good kid.

Exposure? For all the wrong reasons you mean. Fair enough, he's a nice guy but he's getting a bit too excited after the Prescott win. He should win the world title first then maybe people will take notice of what he says, until then, he's just a prospect.

If Khan said that, I guarantee you would call him a **** :deal
Still like Mitchell though, hope he wins.

It is a kind of lazy generalisation but I happen to agree that there is a prevalence of it and it spans all sports. I really do have my doubts about Manny but the English rugby boys look to be just as guilty to me!

kevin mitchell proving what a dumb **** he's really being. american boxers have been going up in weight winning titles for over a hundred years. sometimes boxers are that damn good they can do that. obviously a boxer of floyd's calibre can do that, a fighter of kevin's calibre will have problems. why? simple, floyd's alot better, pacquiao's alot better.
