That said, I would prefer Pavlik to try and go straight to 175 than 168. Less quality opponents there and maybe he could be more successful. But if he stays dedicated and works hard and decides to fight @ 168, he could still be competitive there imo. In any case, no more 160 for him.
He's moving up. It's on Vindy.Com. No decision about 168 or 175, could be either. People who constantly prattle on about how hard KP will have it at 168 really ought to try a little research and thought before they run off at the keyboard. Every single combatant in the super six, except Kessler, was living off Pavlik's left overs, or guys who aren't as good as Pavlik's left overs, when the tourney started.
No -- at least not right off the bat. There really isn't any reason to get in a hurry. If I had my way, he'd fight Andrade, Magee, Sartison, et. Two fights againts guys at that level.
Born there but have been in Ohio since before age 2. Let me know if you want to meet up some time. I'm in the 'north' burb. Liberty.
KP vs. Bad chad is interesting. I'd give the UD to chad, but KP would have allota power at that weight.
No way in hell he moves up to 175, there isn't a fight there outside of 9-1 Beibut Shumenov. Chad Dawson would smoke him worse than Lucian Bute could dream of.
What's interesting about it? Chad would murder Kelly. Except if you find that interesting, of course.
Sure thing. Never actually met with a fellow ESB'er. Staying down in north lima. Working for armstrong cable out in berlin and coitsville. I'll defintely want to check out pav's tavern. I'll get to see all the fights there, and i'd like to go to the east side to maybe go have a round with the man himself.
It's pretty common knowledge around here from the short time. And these are people who aren't close to him either, but have met him and hear what's been going on. It was also posted in the vindy not to long ago either. However, when i hear it from locals face to face, you have to start believing it.
