Here's a 40 minute segment of so-called experts and analysts telling us who they consider to be the top 20 greatest fighters of all time. I doubt this list will be too popular but it's good viewing regardless.

These lists always sucks. With all sports!

They had best over 40 performances and Foreman came behind Jack for winning a major. Moore didn't even make the list.

Just started watching. Holmes is becoming overratedly underrated.

Still watching, I'll edit this when I finish. Thanks Addie

OMG... I love Holyfield but #18? This must've been made in 1998 or something. Holyfield a dominate champion? He struggled with B fighters and was inconsistent. I still love him so I can let this slip. Tyson at 16... ugh expected. Frazier at #11? He's my second favorite fighter ever but... this is like a "my most popular/favorite" boxers type list mixed in with old legends. Foreman at 10? Not surprising. This list almost looked half-decent. LoL Jack Johnson at #7? That's debatable for HW listings let alone all boxers. Dempsey at #5... figures. Ugh, I love Marciano as everyone knows. But #4? This list is interesting, very interesting haha. I just enjoy them talking about the fighters. That's the best part. Wait, I saw this list and segment along time ago when I wasn't as into boxing. This seems all too familiar know. Ali at #1 SRR at #3. Marciano at #4 and Louis at #2... I remember this.

Bill Gallo = Voice of reason. Thank you!

Omissions: No Greb (Arguably GOAT), Langford, Mickey Walker, Benny Leanord, Ezzard Charles, and Charley Burley.

Possible Ommisions: Monzon, Spinks, Saddler, Ross, Canzoneri, Arguello, Whitaker, Joe Gans, and Hearns.

This is list is laughable at the moment for me.

    20. Holmes
    19. Chavez
    18. Holyfield

    It gets worst.

The critics are almost as bad. Focusing on Ali's placement without mentioning the huge glaring omissions. But they are right on Armstrong and SRR I guess.

This list was even worse than I thought it would be. Pep should be in the top 5...at least.

Yey Chavez should be higher and id only have Holmes a couple slots lower, Holyfield is underrated by many but Espn rated him about right. Actually those 3 are rated better than lot of the posters here rate them. i havent seen the whole list just commenting on those 3 will be back after to give my opinion on how the other ones wre rated.

Julio Cesar Chavez is 40-50 for me. I'm a huge fan, I think he was beautiful to watch and is criminally...I stress...criminally...underrated by the casual fan...but he really lacks the significant wins to holster him up to top 30.

Ah, come on he is Top30 and I won´t mind him in the Top20. I abondoned my lists in favour of just ranking fighters as atg, great and very good. Fairer to them.

Well, I guess it has also to do how you rank eras and the contemporaries of the fighters we talk about.

    Valid point.

You'd probably favor Edwin Rosario to beat everyone at 135lbs today.

Well:patsch I dont know if i would be amused or disgusted to see your list if you rate him that low. I have Chavez 10 no lower than 15 it would be criminal to not have him in the top 20. There is no way in hell any boxing fan can tell me there are 40 fighters better than Chavez much less 15:-:)-(

And How the Fawk can you see the casual fan underrates him??? I think most fans would say you underrate him and yet you claim to be a Chavez fan. For me anyone that rates Chavez that Low is a hater. Ive seen Chavez haters still put him in their top 40.

Addie this is equivelant to rating Victor Callejas,Celestino Cabellero,Vuyani Bungu over Barrera at JF
