Everyone on this board seems to have an opinion about Haye. Did he duck, didn't he duck, is he legit? And that's a good thing. Love him or hate him, Haye (and Adamek to a lesser extent) has been a breath of fresh air in a stagnant divison.

However....It's time for Haye to fight a guy who isn't on the verge of retirement. All three of his big wins at heavy have been against guys who were well past it and had no power. Now, that's fine. He did what he had to do. He got himself a belt and now he can make himself a bundle of money.

But he's got to fight someone with a pulse next. Adamek, Povetkin, Chambers, even Sam Peter. I don't think he's going to fight Wlad, but that would be great. Anyway, what do you think? Who should Haye fight next if not a Klitschko? As a sort of tepid fan, if he fights Audley Harrison or waits to fight the winner of Meehan vs. Chagaev, I don't think I'll ever watch him again.

If he beats Chambers, Povetkin or Adamek DECISIVELY (not like he beat Valuev), then he'll be legit. So far he has only faced one top 10 fighter (Valuev) and he struggled to win.

Floyd fights guys on the verge of retirement all the time.

    Is it frowned upon now?

When Haye smashes a Klitschko up, all you haters will eat that humble pie and shut the **** up. Haye has got the skills to pay the bills.

Yes, it is! Second, if you're referring to Shane, he was the number one Welter in the world. No one that Haye has fought at heavyweight could ever be confused for a number one heavweight. :patsch:patsch

I say denis boytzov. The russian is rated highly by all ABC bodies and is
a hot commodity in germany. I say lure him to london and i'm sure HBO would buy the fight. Too bad haye would get cold-cocked by the beast.

I didn't read anything he wrote as hating, in fact he gave him props. You may be a bit blinded by Haye-love. He's saying that the dude has fought a couple of stiffs while getting established in the division and getting a belt, and good for him to do that. He got a paycheck and carved out a name in the division. Now, it's time for him to start fighting for legacy and beating some decent fighters at HW.

I agree with all of that. If you're a Haye-lover don't you want to see him fight the best?

These clowns at HW suck, after the Klits, the division is filled with shitty fiighters, thankfully the CWs are moving up to make things interesting, who could he fight aside from Klits or CWs? Arreola and Peter are trash, Maskiev is old Chagaev is washed up, these guys really suck.

Rahman is an ideal opponent for Haye, a past it fighter like Ruiz and Haye can keep ducking the top HWs, I'm sure you Haye fans want that fight since Rahman is not dangerous at all :deal

Are you refering to his "ducking any top HW" skills? I agree, they are very impressive.

Trade Rahman in for Boystov or an in shape Solis (if that's even possible) and it's a nice list of 'live opponents' for Haye... But let's be serious, he has to fight Wladimir or at least Vitali to really prove himself.
